If I don't have my permit by the time I receive the canvass email, is there anything I can do? I received the correspondence of passing the exam and list number AFTER the canvass email. It appears that correspondence should have arrived first as it suggested getting the permit.

Does anyone know if I have any recourse if they sent me the employment canvas but I do not yet have the Class B Permit? There are hardly any appointments available to take the exam.
