  1. Is 3696 out of JFK retired? I thought that was one of first OGs to be taken out of service from there. Maybe someone can clarify because I have that bus as long gone.
  2. Let's not post anything listed for scrap unless we are absolutely certain that it is listed to be. So much misinformation being posted and can be rather confusing. If there are parts are off of the bus then it is listed for scrap. Radios and fareboxes can be pulled and replaced back into the buses if needed. The OGs should be first out the door right now. If the NGs are getting scrapped then they have a major issue with them.
  3. Please remove 3279 from the scrap list. Bus is still active.
  4. 4378 is not scrap. It is in service. 4245 from LGA is now listed for scrap.
  5. They're probably Maintenance and Driver Training Buses. I do wonder if there will be any hybrid buses saved for museum purposes. OG or NG or both.
  6. Please remove 4565 from the scrap list. It is still in service at LGA. Whatever repairs that had to be made were made.
  7. Why is 6080 which is an SBS Bus at BP? They don't have any SBS routes there. I hope it doesn't stay there for long. I wonder if an artic bus will head to LGA? They've been losing buses as of late: 6258-6259 to JFK and now 6080 to BP. And LGA lost 6 XD40s for training: 7445 7448 7454 7461 7470 and 7481.
  8. 4008 is not scrap. Still running out of LGA. 4055 is not scrap. It is still running out of JFK. 4565 will be scrapped out of LGA.
  9. They really need to stop scrapping the NGs right now for the exception that it has a major problem. These buses could fill in until whatever issue these newer buses have can be resolved. They've been in such a rush to retire the NGs lately and they're leaving garages short of buses to make service. Some of the buses listed for retirement just ran a week or 2 ago and could still be used.
  10. Why aren't these NGs sent to JFK FR or BP to finish off the OGs? These NG Buses are getting retired too quickly.
  11. This leads me to wonder if they are planning to save an OGs NG or MCI for nostalgic purposes or museums? I don't think they're going to save an OG or NG because of the batteries. MCI-possibly. A lot of buses are being scrapped as of late.
