I'm A division, but I can't imagine it's any better. I've had jobs in the private sector that were organized worse than this so it is what it is. That shit never truly goes away, you just have to make the best of it.

Hahaha thanks for the reassurance guys! One question I wanted to ask. The guy leading the orientation mentioned that when you start your shift, it's not necessarily when you start your tour. Like lets say you start your shift at 9am, but you don't actually start driving the train until 10:30am then you have to do the whole tour so now it's 8+ hours. How often does that happen?

This zoom session has been so poorly organized. It's been extremely frustrating. I really hope the actual job isn't such a mess.

How are the trains in the A division? I was assigned that division and someone said the trains are newer and a bit easier to handle than the r46s?

Oh really. The blue paper that we received said No Backpacks or bags with wheels are allowed. I want to bring it, but I don't want to be told that I need to get rid of it or something like that.

The only thing we're suppose to bring tomorrow is the Benefits Orientation Package right? I mean we can't bring backpacks either.

I don't think we have to wear them tomorrow because that blue paper only says that the footwear to be worn tomorrow should be sturdy, hard soled black or brown laced shoes or boots. So you could wear them, but you don't have to unless you have other alternatives.
