Are they still hiring for cleaners?

I've been applying for years at the MTA and just recently Amtrak, no response from them. Hopefully I can pass the station agent exam or the transit electrical helper exam. but even when I do it'll probably take a while to get hired.

i know this is an old thread but i was wondering jake3178 if youre still active on these boards. there is an upcoming exam for transit electrical helper , is there any study guides that you recommend? how much do i need to pass? are you still working as a transit electrical helper? thanks

Upcoming exam this summer July 1 and July 2nd 2023. I have experience 3 years experience as a helper, should I apply for this exam? What is the passing score? any study guides out there? Thank you

thanks, ive read around and people have said to be considered to be a station agent you have to score a perfect 100, is this true? would you happen to know if there will be a sanitation exam any time soon?

hey everybody, i applied for this position last year. my random number is at around 34XXX, im pretty sure im looking at around 2 more years to get called right? or should i just forget about it and focus on the station agent exam?

Hey guys, i applied for the exam back in nov 2022 , the exam will be on may 20 2023. any study guides out there? i know some are going to say its just common sense questions but there has to be some materials that we can prepare for. what is the pay? what do the shifts look like? do you get to pick which station to work at or do they send you to wherever is needed? thank you!
