I think that the MTA is more likely going to retrofit them in the blue and gold scheme since it's the livery for the current fleet, though I could see why they may opt for the white and blue scheme. Not sure what MTA will do with the signs though; either they're staying or they'll be replaced with signs more commonly used (ex. Luminator Titan).
Well, that is to be expected. Both the 2023-24 LFS and XD40 orders are coming in pretty fast. With how fast the 2024 XD40 deliveries are coming into LGA and how fast they are entering service, I'm expecting a bunch of LGA NGs to be announced retired these coming weeks. Same with ECH NGs (either retirement or transfer to JFK) since their XD40 order is done and BP/JFK NGs due to the LFS order.
The displays 4664 use is Luminator Titan, which doesn't display color, so it won't be green. Additionally, Luminator Titan doesn't seem to have Fare Free codes, so the signs would just display the regular pre-fare free M116 codes.
As a rider living along the eastern part of 73rd Avenue, it's disappointing that Q26 and Q73 proposals for the area were removed from the final plan. It's even more disappointing that Q88 headways are still going to be unchanged, despite being the only local service in the corridor.
