  1. Hackintosh :P

I have a 4-page paper due tomorrow and I didn't start it yet (and I have no way to print it). I found out about it yesterday. -__-

This is so inconvenient, you don't spring things up like that out of nowhere, I'm ready to just use a ton of long quotes and a slightly bigger font, this is so sickening.

Anyways, I'm about to start it now. -_________________-

  2. I love how the Q4 single handidly made me late (again). B)

But hey, if I chose to take the Q84 I would've still been standing at the bus stop and arrived here at almost 5 o'clock. :o

QV does not play, that Q27 is almost always on time (except the past 2 days).

The Q85 is usually the worst (after the Q84) but it's been hit or miss lately which is still an improvement.

The Q30 just plain sucks. :P

  3. They have these very questions online, as long as you remember them [and get the right answer], the test itself should be easy. I had no problems with it. I just took my time to make sure I didn't mess anything up as it was 'too easy'.

For the road test: if it is based on SI, I recommend that one, as it was pretty easy and not as many traffic to deal with. My cousin didn't do to well when he had to take the test in Queens.

If I took the permit test in Queens (I did) does that mean the road test has to be in Queens?

I'd much rather prefer Long Island.

  4. Restrictions that don't allow me to do things like this that I can do with the phone pictured.

The iPhone can boot up iOS or Android. Of course it'd need to be "jailbroken" but compare that to Android and "rooting" which is a way more difficult and dangerous process. Android really isn't that much more open than iOS; Windows Phone 7 seems more closed than both.

This is an iPhone 3G which is a slow phone (compared to phones in 2010), it's slower than the original MyTouch.

My iPhone isn't jailbroken btw, I don't want to jailbreak it either lol. The only thing that'd benefit me would be the Sense UI & Google Navigation (even though I'd be on the iOS side 90% of the time), everything else can kick rocks. :o

  5. I feel you on that! That bs burns me up!! The other day, I saw this chick, and I was quite obviously flirting. I said, "I love your car, wanna trade??" She had a Camaro Transformers Edition. She lookd at me and rolled her eyes. Of course, I payed her none. Unfortunately my brothers ghetto ass looked at her and said, "My brother was just giving you a complement. You're not too cute to get slapped b****!"

Lmfao that's how I am. I'll roast somebody like that.

I hate girls like that too, I never complement people I don't know now though.

  6. When people's metrocard don't work then they try it again and then if it doesnt work again they'll take it and stare at it in shock/amazement. Then they'll either try again or get off the bus or the Bus Driver will let them on anyways and they'll still be staring at their metrocard as if it's gonna say "I have no money on me" or "I'm severly dented". I don't know why this annoys me but it just does.

    Lmfao @ KR

  7. The test is pretty simple. It asks questions like "What happens if you drink and drive?" I passed the test, but I don't have the time to take the road test.

Yeah it is pretty simple overall but there were a few questions that almost got me. "How long does it take for the body to get rid of 12 ounces of beer" (not worded correctly) was a little tricky but everything was fresh in my mind since I had just read the important things while we were waiting. I think the body gets rid of .2 ounces of alcohol an hour but then again beer isn't 100% alcohol. I have a feeling I got that one wrong though, I chose "a whole day" (or was it 24 hours?).

  8. No. Installation was not implemented to thwart off piracy. It was to supplement the slow Blu-Ray disk read speeds. Trust me on this :) I got myself a little toy that allows me to play any backed up PS3 game on my my PS3 without owning the disk.

So it really installs the whole game onto the PS3?

That's what PC Games do and then they "require" the CD, I put a "crack" into The Sims 3 folder and it worked without the CD, it was a miracle because the CD was lost and I was annoyed about it day in and day out by a younger sibling who's a Sims-head.

I guess Blu-Ray & HD-DVD have strengths and weaknesses over each other. I know which one has a better name though. :D

  9. So did my HS; including any other electronics, the deans either took them away or warned students to put it away. Most of them got away with it if they were "in good terms" with the deans.

As for the "I love NY" shirt, they mentioned once that it was connected with gang activity. But I rarely saw those shirts anyways...

It was the exact same thing at my HS.

I never got my phone taken away though, they would've had to suspend me. Even with the surprise scanning days, you're not taking my phone from me, who TF are you?

  10. Now I want to know what happened. :D

One thing that annoys me is that why are McDonald's breakfast sandwiches so expensive considering their size. Yesterday I ordered one bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit and a hash brown and it came to Four-something (I didn't even order a drink). It's like the size of a White Castle Hamburger but costs nearly $3. They're so good though. And the Hash Browns are $1 each.

If it was the size of a regular McDonald's hamburger I'd be okay with it and it'd fill me up for a good portion of the day.

  11. Capacity is irrelevant when it offers slow read data speeds. VHS had longer recording times compared to Betamax but it was technically inferior to Betamax in terms of quality but it only took dominance in the market because JVC helped convince people that longer recording times were more important. HD-DVD offered less capacity but the picture quality was superior and offer more interactive menus versus Blu-Ray which still has very, very basic DVD style menus.

I thought Blu-Ray was supposed to have slightly better quality than HD-DVD, it is in my experience although I don't own Blu-Ray or HD-DVD movies so I can't really comment there but as far as video games PS3 games always were slightly better (sometimes the same) than their 360 counterparts in my experience, they were a bit quicker too (might be more of a hardware thing though).

So did my HS. They even banned all students from wearing "I love NY" shirts, and if caught wearing it, they had to take it off and put the shirt on backwards if they didn't have any other shirt on.

That's crazy, my school banned rosary beads and other smaller things but I don't think "I Love NY" T-Shirts were ever banned (although they kinda fizzled out on their own).

  12. No, I don't have an iPhone and I will never ever get one again. Had one a few days and returned it. Mr. Jobs, take them restrictions and stick 'em. And now for AT&T it's $20/month for tethering. No thank you.

    What restrictions? Themes & Overclocking?

Yeah AT&T sucks, you don't even get extra data with that $20, it still counts towards your data plan. I'm not understanding what the $20 is for. There's no way in hell I'd ever get "tethering".

  13. That's how bad Lehman HS is. Fights were frequent during my time there, as well as robberies, stabbings, etc. Fights always generate unwanted attention and a lot of people end up watching it, just for kicks.

I know, that's how my HS was and the ones in my neighborhood. Not that much stabbings though. It annoys me. My school had various gangs too so that was a whole different level of fighting.

  14. No wonder they learn nothing in school... it's always all about fights.

    Tell me about it.

I was in McDonalds the other day all I hear behind me is these 2 birds "oh she wanna fight her", "she wanna fight me tomorrow", "they jumped her", etc. Like how do you plan to fight someone, that's so corny. I HATE that. It's always these 14-19 year old girls.

  15. Never read any H.P Lovecraft stories? You should read The Call of Cthulhu. He was referenced in this weeks South Park Episode.

Are they recent stories because I've never heard anything about that, I'm always missing South Parks too

How do you even pronounce his name lml.

  16. So u Have an iPhone?? Would you switch carriers once the phone is released to other major service providers?

Maybe, AT&T sucks a lot but that doesn't mean Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile will be any better.

Also the other carriers are introducing tiered data too.

Which is not happening since T-Mobile does not have any video calling support, though I find video calling to be completely useless. Whereas the iPhone for Verizon HAS been confirmed, an iphone was tested under the verizon network for several months in Boston, still in testing, as said from the Verizon CEO himself.

Neither does AT&T, currently only wifi compatible (semi-defeats the purpose but useful I guess), plus it's done through Apple.

It's gonna be an open industry standard so it'd probably be possible to hook up with Qik on Android and other video calling services.
