They do need improvements but instead of just improving maintenance at some depots they're just retiring the old buses that still have a bit of life in them and replacing them with the Orion VII NGs. For example the Q31 now has NGs on them like glue, right after I stopped riding it for good, lol. MTA Bus and NYCT has merged but they're keeping their identities separate, so MTA Buses will still say MTA Bus instead of MTA New York City Bus. They repainted a lot of the private line buses which were very old and received many buses from 1990 and that's why their fleet isnt that great. I was running out of PMs that's why I posted this here, lol
