I need some feedback to make sure that our third-party bulk email service and the community software are working the way it should.

I know. I think Bernie's voice would better for the closing doors announcement. Charlie sounds too robotic. Not natural.

Your resume was most likely screened for the baseline qualifications such as work history, experience, education, skills, etc.  The "passed pre-screening" would mean that you passed the baseline qualifications and have moved on the next step of the process. What the next step is I don't know.

This is a way for companies that receive a large number of resumes for a position to eliminate candidates that do not meet the baseline qualifications.

I went over all the permissions again for the downloads section to make sure everything was cool.

A decent week on the line so far. Not as bad as last week.

Yes that feature has always been there.

Also, if you hover over 'More' then click on 'Staff' you'll get more info on who's who.

It always existed its just restricted.

@Union Tpke We decided to take their recommendation and not convert friends to followers.  Sorry.

So the stream is now behaving like you're used to the classic View New Content button.  There are settings for this and I'm tuning them now.

Also if haven't already, after reading all the new posts, mark the site read to get rid of the recent content indexing.  Or else you'll have an activity stream of everything in the last couple of years.

The last three processes running which I hope clears some of this shit up.

The reindexing of posts looks like it will take about 2 - 3 days to complete.

The reason why the site was upgraded because the old version wasn't supported at all anymore.  I don't want to deal with security issues that may arise because of a non-supported forum software.

@SevenEleven Some of his concerns were exactly the same as mine in which case I've already been working on them.

It's still running at 62% as you can see.

It would be part of a long-term plan to extend ALL of the stations on the Broadway-Brooklyn line in multiple phases:

 

Phase 1 would be the Nassau Street Line stations plus those in Brooklyn that serve the .  This would allow the to be 10 cars once that is complete.  It would also include reconnecting the Nassau Street Line tracks to the Manhattan Bridge going to Brooklyn ONLY.  That would allow for a loop line train that would have a single terminal in Bay Parkway, going via the tunnel to Manhattan and via the Bridge to Brooklyn (stopping at Jay Street and Court Street in Brooklyn and Broad, Fulton and Chambers Street in Manhattan going northbound ONLY before going back to Brooklyn over the bridge as well as allow for situations like what happened with the so it can run via the tunnel and back over the Manny B after Chambers.  

 

Phase 2 would be the remaining stations between Myrtle Avenue and Broadway Junction on the Broadway-Brooklyn Line (these would be the stations after the goes to Metropolitan.  This would allow for some 10-car short-turn service between Broadway Junction and Manhattan and also allow for 6th or 8th Avenue trains (that are 60' cars) when needed to use the Broadway-Brooklyn line in a re-route, especially the to Broadway Junction in the event that is needed.

 

Phase 3 would be the rest of the stations on the between Broadway Junction and Jamaica Center so the can have 10-car trains at all times and also allow in an emergency for the or run to/from Jamaica Center via QB, Manhattan and Broadway-Brooklyn both ways..
