  1. 2. They took over the 11C and the 20/84 four years ago this month.
  3. So what was the post-1976 model? Did the operators lease the NJDOT/NJT buses in their company name and run under their respective IBOA banner?

  5. It believe I was on Broadway and 54th Street in Bayonne, which also served as the southern terminus for the line.
  6. The round trip is $42, but for one way, you're better getting separate tickets (one for NYC-Toms River and one for Toms River-NJ) Should come out cheaper and if you're lucky, they might not ask why you're not off at Toms River.
  7. I rode 8502 on the 11C last night from Saddle River/Ameribus.
  8. I doubt it. I rarely see Jews on it in Williamsburg whenever I use the B46 in that area.
  9. I feel you'd be best off sending the B46 to Myrtle. Have it terminate on the B54 westbound stop, have them layover on Lewis and Stockton then have the first pickup at the current B46/47 southbound stop. It allows a more direct transfer to the and , and the turnaround is simpler and less congested.
  10. I've gotten into the habit of waking up around 5-7 am for work, so I never have it in me to start fanning earlier than around 11am.
  11. Would you put the B84 within subway-fare control as with the B42?
  12. Agree with Yonkers having a late night link to the Bronx, but if the 4 doesn't get overnight service, should an overnight 1 or 2 be extended to Bedford Park Station?
  13. What about sending some intercity carriers like Greyhound and Peter Pan to GWB, or have a separate terminal for them elsewhere?
  14. Actually, that raised a question: Why doesn't Lakeland do non-peak trips via Route 202 between Boonton and Wayne? The Montclair-Boontons trains that run along that road neither operate outside rush hours nor provide direct access to Penn Station. Added to that, the 871 only serves Route 202 every three hours. Or does the lack of service in itself answer my question?
  15. Saddle River Tours' Ameribus operates the 11C and the 20/84, so where ShortLine and Oradell are not viable options on their own, Ameribus would be next.
  16. I rode the 190 at Polito Way around 4:00 and the B/O pointed out to me the supervisors directing the buses out of the garage as per the Experiment. Once we were in the tunnel, it wasn't much trouble getting to the PABT. Good to see it's actually working.
  17. Nice. I really like the look of 7065 and 7278
  18. Even so, isn't there a dollar van that shuttles people from Yorkville to Lower Manhattan? And a taxi program that'll take people to Wall St for $6 if there's at least 2 people in a taxi?
  19. I haven't had any "Issues" from the pigeons. It was the authorities I was more worried about. I didn't want to be interrogated just because I was taking pictures, so I headed out to the Bridge Plaza instead.
  20. Would you be able to a 190 on a NABI or a 123 on an MCI?
  21. I'll look into in July. I hear one of the stipulations is that you have to live in NJ for the training. If that's true, then my next step would be to getr a CDL permit by the start of September.
