  6. What are you talking about? He's right that the reason why they stopped doing that was because it barely carried passengers. Majority of the riders used the during the G.O
  7. You do realize those AM trips to 59th Street hasn't happened since 2004? They were extended to 168th Street and Dyckman Street and as of 2013 to 207th Street.

  9. Welp the IND had more "Fun" earlier. Trash can caused a huge track fire at West 4th Street shutting down 8th Avenue Line Service and all trains were bypassing the station. Oh and it was no accident unfortunately
  10. It wasn't a minor derailment. The train itself didn't suffer terrible damage but the tracks, signals and switches, well that's another story...
  11. It wasn't a weekend only thing. From Late 2010 through April 2012, the R68s from Concourse Yard were going through major SMS work so around 2-3 Coney Island R68s were officially assigned to the Line.
  12. The via the Local to 145th Street is happening every weekend this month as well as the first weekend in October but I didn't put it up because the G.O isn't really rare.

  15. There was originally supposed to be G.O on the Brighton Line having Coney Island Bound Trains Express and 145th Street Bound Trains local that ended up being canceled
  16. Actually somewhat normal Train headways are scheduled to return on August 31st. That upcoming G.O you're talking about is just for two weeks. The week of August 31st northbound and the week of September 21st southbound. Some of those Trains are supposed to turn at Church Avenue.
  17. She's been getting heavily called out on Twitter after that response and some are even roasting her. Well she shouldn't have responded like that.
  18. Only 1 and Train went down via 8th Avenue during that mess. That Train went all the way to Euclid and the Train went via 8th Avenue to World Trade Center and went back Uptown via 8th Avenue all the way to Bedford Park Blvd. It all had to do with a signal problem between West 4th Street and Broadway Lafayette Street on the southbound tracks. Interesting though is that the Southbound Trains ended at five different locations during the whole mess before it was suspended entirely. Two went via West End to Bay Parkway, one turned at Prospect Park, then 2nd Avenue obviously, the one that went to World Trade Center and one turned at 34th Street-Herald Square due to the Broadway-Lafayette Street incident.
  19. Recently upgraded to a Nikon D800 last week. Here's a few test photos I took with it recently. Well enjoy. 7/26/2020 7/29/2020 aniel's World
  20. Actually that's not the main reason. During the Clark Street G.O, the Train crews worked/signed up as Trains between 241st Street and Flatbush Avenue while the Train crews worked/signed up as Trains between Dyre Avenue and South Ferry. It's done to balance out the crews without having causing many reassignment jobs and really has very little to do with ridership patterns.
  21. Work being done along 6th Avenue on select weekends during the closures is why.
  22. Actually the being rerouted via 6th Avenue is only on select weekends/nights of the closure. Other weekends/nights during the closures the is staying on normal route
  23. He's not getting the same praise as he was getting back in April. He's been receiving tons of backlash
