Today, 1 July, 2011, I qualified for my Sun Tran sunGO-> photo ID & CARD and I got a monthly local bus pass for $15.00.

How about, possibly, an infill station at 175th Street and Broadway on the I.R.T. ? There still would be seven blocks to 168th Street and six blocks to 181st Street .

I've met this really cute young woman here in Tucson! Taking it slow, and, maybe, God willing. She is a nice person, Chicana (U.S.A. born) and 34 years old with pretty, soft black hair. She speaks English.

Just curious: Why East 6th Street and not East 8th Street?

Tunnels - Pedestrian, Railroad, Subway, Vehicular and Canal are cool. Unfortunately, the best book on them: Tunnels by Fon W. Boardman was written in 1960. Fortunately I have a copy.

Can you guess? My favorite all-time subway line is the 70(EE) a local that ran from 71st Avenue-Continental Avenue to Whitehall. :tup:

R68/R68A, R33/R36 WF, R32 Brightliners, R15, and R1-R9 are my favorites.

Are each of the stations before each terminal like that, or just on the ?

Hi mark1447! Grand Concourse and PATCOMan made a friendly suggestion in a thread I started that I thought sounded good and had merit to try. I thought a Subway and a Bus Random Thoughts Thread might actually help reduce a lot of these little service change, service alert, 12-9 and random threads that have been appearing by giving members a thread to post them in. If a member then reads them and wishes to comment, that's wondful. Maybe help to reduce some of the clutter, so to speak. Some of these - especially service changes and alerts are short term.
