ah, so you did some railfanning on the broadway line. i didn't think of that idea either, since you needed to take 4 lines just to get home and it seemed very indirect (even though it was more direct than the way you planned). maybe a bus would've gotten you there faster. anyway, intrabrough travel in all of the outer boroughs sucks.

Hey, nice to meet you too. we had a fun time yesterday. the return trip was pretty safe too. btw, how did you get home? you didn't have to go all the way to union sq. you could've taken the L to broadway junction with us, taken the C to franklin Ave., the S to prospect park and the B/Q from there.

I honestly don't like the R42s on the E. The R32s were better.

Sure did. Caught it on the first day. After that I saw it twice and could have taken it both times but didn't feel like it since I can for the next 40 years anyway. Right now I think it's best to ride the R42s while I can.
