So! Just b\c they're using old school technology doesn't mean they aren't good. The 62/A's are probably performing better than the 46's which using updated technology.Almost 30 sheesh don't they look good and run good for their age? If nothing serious happens with those cars in the next 10yrs or so I can see them lasting till they're about 40-45.Samething goes with the Hippos.
It doesn't matter if people are critizing, nitpicking or whatever about something they're or WE are trying to point something out to the developer(s).If I was critized about something I would take it as a compliment no matter how HARSH the comment was b\c that would push me to do better like yo you gotta step it up.For example Bstyles and Simon I would show them pics of my route or whatever and they would be like the tracks are shitty and all and they would like me to GREAT stuff. So its a good thing. But I agree that the benches shouldn't be part of a station(spline) I mean on 1 platform theres about 2-4 benches maybe more in bigger stations. But ALL of US appreciate everything and we're just trynna point out things to make it better.I mean for example putting a garbage pale/can or benches in a spline won't be good its unrealistic in the real world. But WE all love and appreciate what you guys are doing. And I promise I WILL use your content to the fullest.I won't care if you critized me.
I suppose these are IND/BMT platforms therefore the platforms will be a different width so there will be a much bigger gap when placing an IRT train? Unless the track placement will have to be slightly closer to the platform.
I was going to start the Astoria section today but as I was looking at pics on nycsubway.org I noticed the track cat walk was a different shade.May I request a reskin:

if you choose not to then its ok.
Countries I have been to: Canada & France and the Islands on a Cruise a year ago.
Foreign Cities:Some in France including Paris.
And I haven't lived anywhere outside the U.S
US Cities many ranging from Bowdin,Maine to Anaheim,CA.
Ok I like it.The objects are fantastic but 1 thing concerns me.Is it possible for you to make these tracks more bendy b\c on a curve its all chunky.(yes I used the track straightner) and it helped a bit.
FOAMING!!!!! I'm having problems with getting the Slant to work in 2010.Everything else works fine.
Ehh...I got the P-word in 1 shot 1st thing I did was open the RM!!
Yes the R-160 Siemens sets are faster. If you notice the Kawasaki trains in the system are faster than the opposing trains.
R-160 Siemens > Alstom
R-62 > Bombardier 62A
R-142A > Bomb 142
R-68A > 68 WH
May I request renamable stations signs like these:
http://nycsubway.org/perl/show?311 (old)
http://nycsubway.org/perl/show?73219 (new)
http://nycsubway.org/perl/show?98404 (also a platform texture like that)
http://nycsubway.org/perl/show?64183 (gateshed platform) + signs (that would be nameabale(non-spline obj).
http://nycsubway.org/perl/show?113482 (And station wall can be used for IRT as well)
Nice work Gren Eggs.Btw will you retexture the stations in different colors? or when they're released we will have to clone and reskin them ourselves? Also how will be be able to rename the signs if spline objects are not renameable?
One more thing are you guys thinking about creating nameable signs so they can be placed on the spline stations? It can be like Magiclands nameable station sign but in brick tiles(in black) non-spline so it matches the wall.
Whats the point of street exits/entrances that go underground when in operation the T/O can't see it.But on elevated there is an exit leading to the mezz which everyone can use and see.
Once the elevated tracks by EL3T are released I will start the .
And thats nice work Strain. But we need elevated exits instead of ones that lead undergroud.
Every R-160 except 8843-9102(which are Siemens) are annoying with that Alstom Propulsion.I rather deal with the LOUD Bombs on the which also have Alstom but it doesn't repeat itself.
