Congratulations and welcome aboard! You will do fine with the training and posting! Don't worry about it. I've been hear almost 7 years and the job does have its moments like ANY job but you will be fine.
One piece of advice that I would like to give you (if you don't mind)...when you finish posting and you're on your own, then get your assignments from the crew office...plan your route to get to the terminal. TRY...TRY not to drive. Use the subway to get to your assignment. If you must drive, then leave early. If you're on the train and you're not going to make it on time, just get the subway car number that you was in and they will check and verified that you was late BUT wasn't your fault. Your assignment COLUD be adjusted as a result.
The following is information from "TJ Trainman" (posting on his behalf)...
#9281-9283 are WAITING to go to LaGuardia. #9285 is on it's way to the vendor.
In addition, the following are LOANS from LaGuardia to College Point...#1538, #3297, #3301-3302, #4098 and #4380
Beginning on March 3rd, Route #1 reverts back onto NYS 110. That routing by Huntington Hospital...added minutes to the line, which I knew wouldn't last long. www.sct.org
Actually, I was referencing to an older route...the N81 (source Wikipedia) and those "interesting" routes from the 1970s and 1980s. However, I forgot about the N94 as well and you're right ...it should have been addressed when it was in service.
Just spotted 4557 on the Q65 (at Parsons Blvd) heading towards Jamaica-AirTrain.
***UPDATE: Was told that this...like #4278...is now a College Point bus***
