  1. Greetings! The FIRST DATE has been updated. Submitted for your approval. Enjoy!
  2. I would leave the Bx7 alone. Can't see the Bx7 "Rush" along Broadway especially through Washington Heights. I can walk faster than the Bx7 along Broadway in Washington Heights.
  3. That bus has been on the list. Yes, I accidentally erased the other buses. Was supposed to have been only 3816 since I was notified that bus was not scrapped yet. I will add all three. Thank you for your help!

  8. You should check out Brentwood! Bro, those bus shelters along Brentwood Rd...GONE! Now it's just regular street lamps and such.. However, I do agree with you. They need to get a move on these bus stop signs. Especially on the NEW routes like the 52B and the updated 80. As for Patchogue, I'm not surprised that bus stop on West St is still like that. Just cater to the LIRR for the tourists if you ask me. So there is a demand for service to Syosset? Really? I remember hearing about the MSBA bus route running up to Syosset but was discontinued years ago.
  9. Probably because someone mentioned it being scrapped a while ago. It also factors when people posts information, then...OOPS! My bad! So thank you, it will be corrected.

  11. Why? The Q46 uses 73rd Av on a detour and NIS buses...mainly express buses have a field day along 73rd Av.

  13. "B35 via Church", you read my mind with the M60 ending at 125th St and 12th Av. However, we leave the M35 alone BUT another route wouldn't hurt in that part of Queens. The Q19 is PACKED now as I took it around 6:30 AM TO ASTORIA. It carries all day and those 15 minute intervals COULD be adjusted. Besides, recently I was on an M60 to ASTORIA-31st ST...first time seeing that.
  14. The M35 to Astoria COULD do some good. Especially since the M60 is ALWAYS crowded. It COULD reduce crowds from Astoria to 125th St. Now yes, the traffic on the Triborough is another story but there are days when traffic is moving. Should it travel the old pattern of 37th St and 24th Av? I don't think it should because I live a few blocks south of that location and today it would not gain that much ridership. HOWEVER, if you terminate the bus at Steinway St and Astoria Blvd North (westbound) and serve ALL Q19 bus stops up to the bridge, you might gain some ridership.
  15. Believe it or not, this COULD be something to think about for the Manhattan Bus Redesign. Obviously, we can have fun and speculate BUT I know this COULD be a topic once that process gets started.
  16. Continuing... Q31...see my response on the Q30. However, I like the idea of using MUCH of Utopia Pkwy and KEEPING 32nd Av for Bayside HS. Not understanding why ending at Bay Terrace Shopping Center...then I realized it. Q32 (and Q60 for that matter)...THANK GOD for bypassing Queens Plaza WESTBOUND. That stop was ok until they "redesigned" Queens Plaza. Q33...this is actually a great idea. It gives employees direct (and should be reliable) service to the subway. I've been on the Q47 and much of the ridership to LGA boards at Victor Moore Terminal (kids...ask the grown-ups) ;-) Q34...I'll miss being on the Q25 and hearing..."This is Parsons Blvd and 78th Av, transfer to the Q34, this is Parsons Blvd and 76th Av, transfer to the Q34. Other than that, whatever, Q35...The Brooklyn side...stays as is. The Queens side...basically a detour. Q36...I guess there's a need to accommodate people on Springfield Blvd to have a direct route to the Jamaica Bus Terminal. As someone who was born and raised in Jamaica, not feeling no Q36 in Jamaica on weekends...that's just me though. Q37...A dual-service between Kew Gardens and JFK with the Q10. Ok. Sure. Q38...hmmm...an actual route. Q39...bypassing Court Square but will still sit in traffic along Jackson Av, especially with all that construction. Q40...might as well be 24 hours. Q41...well, we'll see how this works. Q42...historic route in a historic neighborhood. Glad it's not going to the hospital. Q43...about to get a little helper. Q44...no issue Q45/Q46/Q48...I'd extend the Q45 to Springfield Blvd and I'm good. Q47...75th St Southbound? Woodside Av? About time! Q49...eh... Q50...needs clarification. If using GCP, then I'm ok. If using the OLD Q48 route, then short-turns in Flushing (or keeping the original Q50) will happen. Q51...I'll wait and see but looks like a nice route. Q52/Q53/Q54/Q56/Q58...it is what it is Q55...ABOUT TIME! That was LONG overdue BUT the turn-around though... Q59...bypassing Macy's on 56th Av in Queens...this is going to be interesting. Q60...see Q32 More later!
  17. If the terminal was still there, keep it in the terminal. You remember the terminal they torn down and put that hotel in it's place.
