I believe that was one of the 6xxs that was involved in that whole trade from Stengel to WF to KB back to WF but never went back to Queens like the rest did

We will see what happens after those 78 NGs hit KB (which could happen by months end). I saw them doing training this morning and the bus hadn't been jacked up so its a sign of things to come. WF is the real mess with those 76-7800s whitebacked and lookin dirty and old as hell. They really need to just make AMS Manhattan Division at this point and IMO with the all hybrid fleet and decent B/o's is the best

Cool. The new battery pack looks better. Then I guess by year's end well into the 4100s should be finished. I swear everytime theres a pic of these buses not in service they have a KB designation on them. It'd be nice if that actually meant something.

I read over on Buschat that Orion has up to 3960 built already with the new battery pack. Is there any validity to this?

3802,07-09,11-12 and 17 are said to be at CAS and 3815 is said to be at YUK. What buses are going to be retired by the Next Gen. O7's?

That may be true but may favorite routes run out of KB (Bx3 and Bx10). In order for me to even get to SI I'd have to take the Q43/46, the , the , the ferry and then have to find out which route the NG O7 was on. I'm a busfan but I'm lazy . Hopefully before June 09 they'll be in my neck of the woods

I want to ride one of these buses but... there's no way I'm trekking out to SI for that. I'm not an SI person. I'll just wait for them to show up in E. Queens or the Bronx (the latter meaning I'll be waiting till at least 2010) lol.

Screw SI, they keep screwing over other boroughs by taking the good buses. Give them to the KB, GH and UP

CS just got brand new buses so I would hope they would send them elsewhere. And that's the same thing I was thinking, Someone at the depot had to know prior to the buses arrival that they wouldn't fit through the wash. There's a list of depots getting the buses? would you mind posting that.

Is it official that the 1st 400 are going to SI? because we know how MTA does at times. I doubt it will take till that long though. maybe Nov-Dec for CAS and Feb 09 for YUK. Can't wait to see some pics.

and the 1st 400 are SI bound apparently. So unless they change this the BX will be royally scrwed for the next 2 years at least in terms of decent buses. Edit: I may have to retract that statement as some buses may be KB bound by November.

So what new Citaro features are to be added to the O7 NG? I really didn't expect MTA to get these buses in the 1st half of the year but these buses are really needed. Let's hope Orion is able to reconfigure the bus for a quicker delivery like October.

I don't know if I was clear, but what I was asking was if those 2 buses were repainted a 2nd time? because when they 1st got to KB they were sporting a new coat of paint, went to pieces and now they are missing all ads and look like they got a new paint of coat. I noticed whenever KB starts repainting buses they leave, 8800's got spruced up a little before leaving, the 6000's went whiteback then to CAS, next the 5700's to GH for the BRT. You can always tell if KB is about to lose a bus by how fresh it looks. And thats just messed up sending 6695 to KB to be repainted. Tease the mechanics and drivers about buses they'll never see in that depot. Maybe it's just me hating the 95-96 O5's but do the drivers complain about why KB doesn't have any O7's?

Now the million dollar question: Is 6695 going to stay at KB long enough for driver's training? Little off topic but are they re-repainting the 99 O5's? Saw 6249 and 6296 looking like they got a new coat of paint recently. Can't wait to ride the NGO7's.

Damn, not that kneeling problem again. I don't know how many times I was late going someplace because of that. Knowing KB they'll do the training the night before their 1st NG O7 arrives. Someone has to know where these buses are going though. The suspense is killing me. Like if I can find out where they're going I'll be content with the crap MTA is running now.
