Maybe I'm kind of jealous I can't get that many cameras..Nice crisp clear photos but all flat lifeless photos. Yes today's and even some of yesterdays point and shoot cameras can produce clear crisp pictures but I'm talking about dept of field. Point and shoot cameras, at least not any I've seen recently can produce depth of field (DOF) like a DSLR can.Look I posted before out of anger and I let it get to me there. I'm just getting tired of people ganging up on the kid all the time. If he wants to learn and shoot real photography, he should stop wasting his money and get a DSLR.
Taken with a DSLR. The large depth of field is obvious in this photograph. I hope you see where I'm going with this.
I believe this is how Daniel eventually wants to shoot. If he doesn't then I apologize and I'll just leave it like that.

Last photos I'm linking, I mean we both are right in a way but I'm just trying to help him work with what he has now especially since he doesn't have a choice for now. Those we're shot with the same E5600, those other shots I didn't change the color settings, I also hate photoshopping my images so I try to have them crisp, lol.

I used point and shoots and at one time the same model, there's photos my friend took with a disposable camera that looks better than some stuff I have posted with a Kodak P880! I have worked with cameras people call pieces of craps and next thing you know they wonder how I do it, if you learn your camera you can work wonders. No bull here. Sure your photos generally come out better but it's best to learn how to mess with your current camera so you can have an idea on how to use an advanced one. I used a Nikon E5600 and it came out clearer than many photos taken with DSLR cameras. People hate the Nikon E5600 with a passion too but I love it!Cut the bullshit already, the better your tools are the better images you can produce period. Yes, there's skill involved in it but if your shooting with junk most likely you're going to produce junk. Many professional photographers would agree with this logic. He's shooting with a point-and-shoot camera there's only so much he can do to increase the quality of his photographs. The best thing Daniel can do is save his money and invest in a beginner/prosumer DSLR and put the point-and-shoot crap to rest already. And at the same time he can shut all of you guys up too.

Taken with a point and shoot POS Nikon, but hopefully you see where I'm going with this.

I'm more worried about him thinking the camera affects how good your photos come out, really he needs to work on his skills rather than spending bills. Practice makes perfect... In general you can't buy photography skills (especially with camera models), it's not hooked on phonics! If you go to a more advanced camera and don't know how to use the current one, you're going to have a much harder time taking the photo you want!Guys we shouldn't be poking him cuz he got a new cam. So what? Its his money, he can do what ever he want. I dont care what he gets. It doesn't affect me. Like many people i know got the Kodak Z1485 IS cam i got and i even suggest them it too.Ya should stopping being pokey for this crap. Just MOVE on... Who cares!
Hey im planning on getting a DSLR or DSLR based camera this summer/Fall time so what? Even tho i got my Kodak in September of 2009.. I wanna get something better!
Of course Daniel you also need to take care of your camera and not get it dirty and stuff. Keep it clean and maintain it. And play with it to get Better shots, its not about getting a camera similar to someone. You gotta play with it in a good way. And do other stuff with the cam instead of including CPW in every shots you take, Becuz every photo topic i see such as an IRT topic, you include the CPW in it.. Which is getting REAL old bro..

I thought you learned your lesson with biting off other people, how many cameras can you get in one year? Everyone's going to have a Sony H20 if this continues, you should learn how to use your equipment before upgrading because the camera doesn't better your photos, you better your photos!

LOLI'm guilty of doing that once!So SIR is only R44? Hmm in that case, I won't be riding it anytime soon...

Agreed, though if I were them I would just give it a blueI don't agree. I think the staten island railway should stay the same. But the SIR should still be renamed to a letter route line like ethier K or H or P or U or X or Y0
