  1. Saw 6333 m100 today, man seeing black back felt so nostalgic. also it in nicer condition then the other Orion v. no rust.
  2. I hope not, I like the depot sticker Art, specially the kingsbridge logo with a RTS bus coming out of the caste, as well we know which depot maintains them. this is just my opinion but the Quill Depot Maintain there buses very well. very clean...by NYC standards.
  3. Hopefully they wont make that same mistake with the 6000
  4. Do you guys think that they will preserve one 6000 orion V for there museum fleet?, I understand we have 101 and one as a training bus but that's it and those are 93 models. it sad because they have different types of old and new look buses and different types of RTS in the museum fleet, they didn't ever bother preserving Orion V CNG.
  5. Same WF is the last depot before they go to eastchester depot for retirement.
  6. I crap I forgot about that part of history, L.A had the biggest trolley infrastructure in the world.
  7. Lets also not forget Robert Moses, he let the system deteriorate while he was trying to turn NYC in to LA with his express ways.
  8. am taking about the single car 2000, not the 2000 fleet, there are still videos from 2012 of 2000 as a half cab.
  9. They converted 2000 to a full cab?, that was quick.
  10. Rail Fan Window they were pretty common back then with the older Subway cars. but in 97 they started to full cabs all R62 and some R62A singles, The remaining singles will be converted to a 5 car set or be use as garage trains or work train replacing the work redbirds.
  11. just a theory,I mean I saw a garbage set being pulled by a R62A a couple of a months ago.
  12. Somes single maybe going to work service, replacing the rusted redbirds I think.
  13. Man Can't believe this project decades in the making is now reduce to a Manhattan shuttle
  14. got 2046 a couple of weeks ago As a 90s kid The RFW was the best part about the Subway. it give me a nostalgia trip riding in the front seeing the rails for the first time since 2002 on the 4 train,I can't be leave it the end of an era.. well it least untill the R32's Retire.
  15. Take those RFW footage and pics while you can, if anything the R62A singles will be used as Work trains to replace the rusted redbirds.
  16. The CBTC sensors are in place, I think that what they are, can anyone tell me what this is on the track?
  17. Well it doesn't share track service wise,The queensboro diamond crossover is there to take subway car off the flushing line if the R62's needs major work they go to the coney island overhaul shop via B division trackage, queensboro junction hasn't been used for service since the duel BMT-IRT days of the 40's. however the junction in 125th is used for the to make local stops on the Lexington line at late nights.
  18. It's easy to say that the is the best since it doesn't have to share trackage with any other line. Same goes for the .and which has good service overall.
  19. Yea it almost like I was 6 train with the Peeling LED and poor lighting.
  20. I believe some were down the line the R62A'S will have flat screen delay monitors installed for the destination signs and the number signs.
  21. Thank you, if they overhaul R62A with modern tech it would be a lot better, like auto announcements LED destination sign but it looks like we won't see that anytime soon.
  22. But Lexington ave is the most crowded then any line and they are relying on old signal system. yet the get the old rolling stock WOW LOL.
  23. Man I just realized the it a shame the 6 train will get the old stock of R62A, what makes the 7 so special? LOL.
