  1. I was wondering if there are any bus operators on here that work out of the Spring Creek Depot? Since they have some of the fewer routes, i was wondering how's the overtime, also how's the starting salary, and the percentage you pay for medical/dental and pension out of your salary since the union is ATU? I'm just considering the pros/cons of the different depots, and that's the closest one to my home. If anyone has pros/cons on the other depots any info would be appreciated.
  2. Does anyone work at the spring creek depot? I was wondering how the starting pay, overtime potential, and what benefit are covered and what/ how much you have to pay out of your salary since that depot is atu?
  3. This question is for anyone familiar with the atu. On the application i filled out last year for the mta bus operator it said the benefit was comprehensive. So after reading some other post about people paying for medical and health i was wondering what type of deductions they take from you paycheck, and also what benefits are included exactly. I would also like some info on the pension, union dues, and cost of uniforms, and night and differential. Any info would be helpful to me on making any decisions.
  4. I am a new member, I've been reading the post regarding the starting pay for the MTA compared with the bus company's. The question that i have is the benefits included in your pay for all depots/unions or do you have to pay out for them?
  5. Hello, my name is Bevin. Hopefully a future bus operator. This is a great and resourceful forum.
  6. Thank you for replying to my thread. The question i really was asking was about the different bus company's. I applied for the MTA bus company, i read in other post about the MTA, ta, and the maBSTOA. I was wondering the big differences between them?
  7. I am a new user on this forum, i've been reading different post on here for a few weeks. The biggest question i have is the different divisions of mta. I applied for mta bus operator last april, received the confirmation of my application in may and this april took the boss survey. I would like some info on the differences with divisions, starting pay, etc.
