  3. I was just thinking about the Wilson Ave station and short exit that only has a few stairs to go up to. Why does not the (NYCT) make Wilson ADA compliant?(At lease on the Manhattan platform. Only a handful of (MTA)subway stations are ADA complaint. I know the does not have all the money to make every station compliant but, many stations can become complaint. Here my list, Wilson Ave(L)- A small ramp can be built so the Manhattan platform is ADA accessible Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts(A)- The Station is a popular station/transfer point. The station also has a large platform. One more station on
  4. It looks like a new movie is being filmed at Hoyt-Schermerhorn station. I saw that a R160 set is being used to film. I saw it this morning at 8am and also this afternoon I saw the whole film chew. I saw everything form the cameras to the crew. If anyone is interested the cars I saw was 8609 and 8610. Do any of you guys know what's filming?
  5. The 2nd ave subway may be 4 years behind original schedule. http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2009/04/25/2009-04-25_second_ave_subway_set_back__again.html

  7. Great photos Daniel the Cool. But I don have a question, What did the "rebuilding the - Concourse Line" sign say? What is the and (NYCT) doing?
  8. I remember only just a couple mouths ago ,on the (L)'s line R143 cars side digital signs. I remember seeing a quick Olay ad with the logo and everything. The ad was just a side and just a few seconds long. The Olay ad was the only different sign in the digital signs since the signs was intro introduced with the R143's. The should update those signs and put in ads. I do not know why the (MTA)/(NYCT) does not use the LCD's for new Ad's.
  9. The center platform will be used as a passageway for pedestrians but train doors will not open onto this platform. 2nd ave sagas, http://secondavenuesagas.com/2007/04/08/reconstructing-the-columbus-circle-station/

  11. Well, the new floors is on the mezzanine level. @nd ave sagas has pics of them. The floor reminds me a little bit of the 1st floor of Kings Plaza Mall. http://secondavenuesagas.com/2009/02/03/checking-out-the-new-floor/
  12. 21st Street/Van Alst ,Court Square,Broadway,Smith/9th Street Wilson Avenue, Bedford Ave, 6 Ave 14 Street Chambers Street, Canal Street,Bowery Nostrand Avenue
  13. I agree with you B35. The B38 is a great bus and one of my new favorites ! I been using the B38 more and more than the slow B54. The B38 follows the B54 old bus route in Downtown so I can get to the Nevins Street faster. The 38 seems to come like clock work. At rush rour it seems the bus come every couple seconds. It you miss two buses. Two buses comes seconds later. You don't have to wait long. The only downside to the B38 is the Kosciuszko Street station. You can only get the . At Myrtle Avenue you have the choice of both the and the .
