  1. I read on the (MTA) website, that due to the "inclement weather" all the GO's except the (L)(1)(2)(7). The (E)(F) ran local on Queens Blvd today because of the "inclement weather"

The Uptown (2) and (3) ran local today b/w Times Square-42nd Street and 96th Street...it was barely any snow sticking to the ground for it to suspend express service on certain lines!

  2. The part with 3716 that is old. I saw 3717 on Sunday at LGA. and now its at JFK? Good riddance. That is not returning. The same for 3640 (No logos) yeah that one aint coming back. I would not be suprised if 3641 is also at JFK. * DO NOT be suprised if 3718 and 3719 make their way over to JFK as well* Also, *expect the same for 3740/3741 to go to FR for the Q-21 LTD* just my opinion.

  3. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out some of the acronyms used on here, it's not going too well. What are the following, please? (the brackets are my guesses)

    G.O. (general something with an O )

    IIRC (interborough information resource center?)

    RCC (regional command center?)

    Thank you ;)

    G/O=General Order

IIRC=If I Remember Correctly (nothing to do with the subway system)!

  4. Never been a fan of the Orion CNGs because of how they looked and the seats were too low if you wanted to look out the window. However despite all that, #7746 from West Farms is a bus I really like.. It sounds completely different compared to it's other CNG buses, must be a different engine maybe. Anyone can tell me why that is the only bus that sounds different when it accelerates?

    Engine change!

  5. Yeah but the announcement was supposed to be like this: This is Lexington Avenue, 63rd Street. Transfer is available to the (F) train. A free transfer is also available to the (4), (5), (6), (N), (Q), & (R) trains by walking to the Lexington Avenue 59 Street Station and using your MetroCard.

It's not a big deal since the (M) does not go there as much. Just felt like nitpicking. :P

*Facepalm*.....I made a mistake on my part lololol!

  6. I happen to take the (M) via 63rd and the (F) via 53rd street today. Tell me what is wrong with this announcement on the M via 63rd: This is Lexington Avenue, 63rd Street. Transfer is available to the 4,5,6,F,N,Q, & R trains.

I don't see anything wrong with that announcement.....if the (M) is going over the (F) line....its going to announce the (F). When the (F) goes over the (E)....it announce the (E) @ certain stations!
