  1. I saw a R188 at Junction Blvd a few weekends ago with the side LED reading " <7> Super Express" on the middle track.. I wonder what in the world a <7> Super Express would be

It would be the baseball special and US Open special. I believe its Mets Willets-Points, 61st Street-Woodside, Queensboro Plaza and all stops in Manhattan.

  2. IDK if Dan05979 was being serious, sarcastic, or an idiot, but what he said would be the absolute worst thing to happen for the (N). Sea Beach and Astoria riders would be super mad to see their awesome, beloved R160s replaced with junky old R46s (they look ugly there anyway), though I am sure a couple of people I know who wished the (N) and (Q) looked like a certain fatso at my school would love this. The (N) was the first train to get the R160s for a reason: it ranked worst in the State of the Subways Report Card for three straight years. The (W) also got them for this reason, leaving whiney Brighton riders with only 25% R160s until it was discontinued. The "big event" of the weekend is the bus festival in Downtown Brooklyn, which I am sure will be chaotic with all you railfans fighting over stupid things.

Back to this topic of the (A)(C), I hope the swap is permanent because R46s look better on the (C) and R32s look better on the (A). The R46s are also fatter, slower, and have more problems than the R32s, so they should run on the part-time local.

And why would you call him an idiot? I'm sure he was being sarcastic...it was no reason to call him names. You could @ least show some respect to a TA worker

  3. BREAKING NEWS! As MTS pushes forward hard, this is the best time for them to enter the market as Orion exits. The high floor pilot for the lead customer is ready to roll, with a possible 1,275 more high floors to follow. At this time, the name of the lead customer remains confidential.

Low Floor update: After nearly 4 months of speculation, I was able to confirm that MTS is bidding on the Chicago Transit Authority's solicitation for 300 40 foot buses, with an option for an additional 150 units.

Fact of the day. Chicago was the launch customer for the RTS-08....... Will they potentially make history and be the launch customer for the RTS-10?? Only time will truly tell as MTS goes head-to-head with the heavyweights, also known as New Flyer and Nova. New comer BYD is also said to be bidding on the contract as well.

    Excellent
