  1. Well RoadCruiser, in the Bible Belt and other areas that follow religion crazily the people there would not accept anything besides the "fact" that God created the world in 6 days and left the 7th day to bless everything. It's what they choose to believe in. If they accept the creation myth, let them do it. If they want to accept Darwinism, let it be. After all, while there are many signs that do point to evolution, Darwin's theory is STILL a theory. Because we don't know what happened through the course of millions of years.
  2. I wonder the costs... and how many overruns and how many times it will be delayed. Just keep it simple, get it done and perhaps spruce it later if that's is SO necessary.
  3. The thing is, PABT is getting packed. So therefore a new terminal ought to be built redistributing the buses and putting some relief. The buses do have a right to run, but then again, they need control.

  5. It depends on the demand. I'd rather they have better frequencies than longer trains. But I doubt either would happen.
  6. Well that's assuming people have internet to view this. Putting this guide on maps gives everyone an idea of what service is like. You're not going to have a tourist memorise what service is like back home or the last time they have internet at a hotel before stepping in. Not everyone has internet on their phones. This is a ready resource.
  7. Welcome, have a nice stay
  8. Welcome Joel! I actually met a girl recently from your area. She's from Hewlett.
  9. Stay cool, drink more water. That's the best advice I can give. Also, the city has set up cooling centres for those who don't have ACs or on the street and there's no AC to be found. They might help.
  10. Nice stuff, but L14 is technically a metro line, rather than a tram line.
  11. It's more like happy birthday, 6th Avenue Express, because the local tracks were up since 1940.
  12. It's a useful message, especially since the Times Sq incident. But played repeatedly can be a little annoying.
  13. I only trust Wikipedia when I know it's proven.
  14. As a daily rider, I really don't care whether it's a R46 and a R160. As long as I'm on time and that's it. I don't mind a little crowding, because I've seen much more worse. Longer dwell times may be for the R46s, but I really don't care. It's not like the R160s won't be held up themselves. Take a chill pill, it's just a train.
