  1. For Metro North specifically it is not required for them to wear one unless you are in contact directly with the customer, for which engineers are not. Now, I know you're gonna say the same thing for T/Os but NYCT =/= MNR, and T/Os interact with riders a lot more than engineers on any railroad...
  2. Yes, that is one of my old photographs.

  3. Hey, I got a question about MegaBus. How far in advance do I have to be by the bus to get front row seating on the upper level?

  4. Newark is mostly a college town. It houses the main campus for the University of Delaware and many college students live there, not much going on though... The state as a whole is quiet and mostly habituated by senior citizens because of the cheap rent, housing and no taxes on goods. The beaches here are nice in the summer when tourists come from all over the Coast for vacations (telling you this from experience as I work at a seasonal place at the beach), if I was to tell someone to move here it would only be in the north part of the state. :)

  5. Hi,

I've lived here for 3 years now in Sussex County (south of state) and life here for me is very boring being a city person. As you go north within the state, there are more cities, hence more jobs, attractions, even railways, etc... Kent County (next one north of Sussex) is quiet as well but has the capital city of Dover, which is a nice town, not too big and mostly quiet. New Castle County (north-most) has more life to it. The city of Wilmington is the biggest city in Delaware so people that live there are also more diverse. Wilmington is one of the nation's bank-capitals with many jobs in that industry. I am actually moving up there this upcoming summer, despite the high crime rate. Even with that, there are very nice, quiet neighborhoods in the city which makes it a good place to live in if you for example work in Philadelphia.

  6. That sounds like a great beginning for a job. I wish I could work 6 days in any job... I was in Connecticut late December with Fred G, we went from New London to New Haven, then returning to New York and later back home to Delaware. How are your hours? Not too stressful I hope?

  7. Hey man. Haven't heard from you in a while. How's work been going?

  8. It can work, but I wouldn't mess with it. Rather wait for BVE 5 to come out.
  9. Hey dude, looks like I can't make it tomorrow, have to go to SI and it's gonna take up my whole day. Maybe next time! ;)

  10. Look guys, honestly, all I need is a reliable host with my own domain so I'll have to decide what to choose from... no servers or anything like that, it's just for pictures, nothing more.
  11. I've been looking into photo hosting sites (free or $) with your own domain, can anyone recommend from experience? The reason I ask is because my Photobucket is getting fuller and the quality of the pictures is decreased when uploading...
  12. What about something more permanent like a private photo album? Something similar to what a few photographers have here...
  13. Hey Zach,

Was just watching the weather in AZ, looks like everyone got blown away by snow! :P

  14. OpenBVE has not been officially tested on Macs, but it can be downloaded. See here.
  15. Looks like a great investment for an SLR, Dave ! Can't wait to see the photos.
  16. So where do you live in DE? :P

  17. Happy belated birthday (C)! Sorry forgot, was in the city enjoying myself. lol

  18. I think it'd be a good idea to do Amtrak/Metro North or NJT in Jersey!
