  1. hmmmm, time for another game of what will come first.... Which will be the first to bite the dust completely: - The Bees - O5 CNGs
  2. I didn't know 31st Street was blocked off, couldn't they use 33rd street? ....still doesn't diminish the fact that the M20 needs more reliable help along 7 AV...Its funny the Old M10 was a longer route than the M7, yet the old M10 was much more reliable and more of an assist to the M20 than the M7 currently is, why because the M10 was much more streamlined and straight doesn't have all the twist and turns that the M7 has uptown. Which leads me to ask what is the purpose of the M7 really...if you look at the map its clearly just a supplemental route to other routes...There isn't one part of the M7 route where its the lone route that would create a dependency for it... If it were me I would switch the M7 and the M3 north of the park. Have the M7 cover Manhattan/St Nick Aves to 168th (current M2 Term), Send the M3 up Lenox directly from CPN to current M1/M7/M102 term. and Extend the M2 from 168 to 191st (the current M3 term) This would make the M7 much more reliable and straight not causing it to be totally useless to anyone below 72nd Street. Plus I think this works better for the M3 and M2 as well.
  3. They need to bring the M10 back downtown to Penn Station...the M20 cannot handle it alone and it's headways are to far apart. The M7's seem to bunch insanely (M7 covers way too much ground uptown IMO need needs to be straighten and streamlined).... It's funny because you will wait 20 mins along 7 AV, then a crushloaded M20 will come followed by half-dozen empty M7s (the Gang of M7s seems to always come behind the overcrowded M20). If not the M10 return, then send the M104's to Penn....The M20 only need the extra help down to Penn beyond there the M20 and the unreliable M7 pretty much gets the job done.
  4. The additional C40's will also be sending SC's O5's to their final resting grounds. It should, but I don't know if BP has the capacity or equipment to handle the Q60.....to add the Q60, BP would need another 30-40 units, I don't think they'd have the space for that if they were giving the additional equipment. Move the Q112 to JFK, and the Q110 to QV then BP could take the Q60.
  5. Damn this is like a Science to figure this sh*t out.....trying to make 2+2 = 5 How much longer until the Overhauled RTSs are in play....they'll most likely all go to BP and some to JFK
  6. OK but WF and SC have C40's as well....so all 4 depots already have simlar fleets....again having BOTH styles of buses at all 4 depots gives the MTA more flexibility with exchanging fleets. Not to mention SC is already experienced with CNG and OGs, so the training of CNG OGs should be Minimal there. I agree the OG hybrids should be moved to JFK, LGA or BP...and they are moving out when the new order of C40's arrive. You may stand by your point, but its not a very good case, for keeping CP and SC to one style of bus, its does nothing but constrain the MTA options.
  7. wait you're not making any sense on one hand you say its OK for CP and SC to be depots of 1 type of local fleet...but JG should not? also giving CP and SC more 4500's doesn't balance out their Local Fleet, they'd still be all C40's... I don't see what the problem is sending some CNG OGs to SC and CP...to have both types of CNG models at all 4 depots.
  8. I always thought CP and SC should get some CNG OG's....This way not only is the fleet balanced but all CNG depots are experienced with both CNG fleets and all buses can be interchangeable between the 4 depots.
  9. I wonder what the reason all these O5's are going to ECH for....they have more than enough buses to cover the Bx23 and Q50....Are they planning to increase service again? or just giving them a stockpile?
  10. When does CP run the Q50 now?..... every time I've taken it, it's been 100% ECH....I Like it better when it was mostly at CP
  11. The end of the RTS is the Bronx once again.....I wonder if this is truly the end since WF is pretty much set on buses and no longer need to borrow RTS from storage... I never really understood why ECH switched from O5's to RTS to begin with....and now their back to O5's
  12. Do they get so hot that people would rather stand then sit in the back row....I have seen crowded Q111/113's with empty back row seats because they feel like your literally sitting your ass right on the engine.
  13. Except when I ride around CS's 600's I'm not: - Feeling every bump in the Road due to horrible shocks - The back row of seats being overly hot because of the heat from the engine - AC's that barely blow any air - People that don't know how to use the Rear Doors... - Very Slow take offs - Don't have the feeling like the Bus is gonna friggin fall a part in the middle of street - Seat Cushions on the Floor and Ripped The Bees were built for SUBURBAN USE NOT THE CITY and their Struggle shows it....
  14. I'm sorry but the Ex BL's just were not meant for the City Street and Workloads......MJQ couldn't keep those things in pristine shape... They're done they need to go, either pull some RTS out of storage, send over the 600 series O5's or send over some D60HF's instead of retiring them. But the Bees have GOT TO GO! NOW!
  15. I wonder if the BX is about to become RTS-less once again, if ECH is going back to all O5's??????
  16. Please send BP some RTS to get rid of those Ex-BL's....I feel like those things are going to just fall apart in the middle of Guy Brewer Blvd any day now...
  17. I would love to see an RTS on the M1 or M7 - I can't remember the last time an RTS was seen on these Orion exclusive lines.....
  18. Hi Megabus -

The reason was to bring more of a challenge to the game, its Very easy to just spout off connecting subway lines and just keep looping them
