MTA would be bringing in subway cars by flat bed truck to restore subway service to the Rockaways. The Rockaways bridge is still out, but Cuomo said there would be a bus shuttle.

  What will happen if there's another storm? Truck them back out? Seems risky to bring the trains there if they are going to be isolated from the rest of the system and with no shelter.

J train now goes to Manhattan, last stop is Essex St... Still free Brooklyn-Manhattan shuttle bus running. Big improvement.
