My AM commute is Q25 Limited (sometimes local) To Q111 or Q113(LCL or LTD). After work I mostly use the Q111 or Q113 LCL, sometimes the Q3 depending on what I have to do after work

Those rarely are out past 7-8 PM. LGA RTSs tend to come out during the day with a few covering evening service. SC uses the Orion V CNGs mainly on weekdays & they can pop up in Saturday Service.
  5. 3136 is now @ College Point. Saw this on the QM5 last night by Queens Center Mall with CP stickers

I am very surprised to see that New Flyer has won the order. This can be MTAs 1 lucky chance to kiss & make up with New Flyer. I hope this order go's well with little to no problems! I am a big New Flyer fan myself & I am looking forward to see the LFR Series rolling around!
  7. IDK about the day time however late @ night like between 12 & 4 AM @ Jamaica LIRR Station, I see far worse. I tend to see any car with non-livery plates taking fares. I have seen many different types of cars pick up fares, including small cars. Thats on top of Town Cars with NJ & PA Non Livery Plates! Once I saw a Toyota Corolla with South Carolina Plates pick up a fare as well! I see all of this as there are often guys position every few feet shouting and/or asking "Taxi Taxi!". When a person accepts their call, they get escorted over to a car. You also got those that will be rolling up to any bus stop around Sutphin/Archer with the driver asking if they need a taxi. Usually during the daytime hours, the cabs tend to compete with the Q6. Usually you see your typical car models thats well used as Taxis(Town Car, Crown Vic, ETC). When it comes to the late night hours, it's pretty much every man for their self!

  10. Wirelessly posted via (SAMSUNG-SGH-T469/T469UVIG4 SHP/VPP/R5 NetFront/3.5 SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.1 configuration/CLDC-1.1) Just saw 7216 not long ago on the Q34 heading Whitestone Bound not long ago with hard seats
  11. Guess may as well start getting off @ Newark & get PATH from there now. I won't be so surprised the # of people using Newark & PATH has gotten higher with this fare hike. On a side note, this should be interesting with how the Dinky will survive!
  12. It Appears to be already going on. Been seeing more & more soft seaters appearing on the Q25, Q34, & Q65. Those 3 lines rarely uses soft seat buses. Starting to see in the area of 2-3 Soft Seat O5 CNG's a day on those lines in the past 2 weeks. Heck, even the 85XX's are now popping up more on local lines now. Just on Tuesday saw 8570 & 8576 on the Q65. Also saw 8581 on the QBX1 on Wednesday Night with HARD Seats! I do hope to see the O5 CNG's last long enough to see the new QM #'s!
  13. Personally the Q74 won't have an impact on me other then in the 3-6 PM range since the Q46 is packed with SJU students in that time range. Then again I am usually gone before 3 anyway a lot of times. What I don't understand is why more people are making a big deal about the Q74 then any other lines being cut? Some things just don't make any sense! Besides those that are coming from the Queens Blvd line are better off with the Q64 & Q88 buses. I always thought taking the E or F to the Q74 is a roundabout way since all those schools on the Q74 are located in between Jewel & LIE.
  14. I have ridden school trippers mainly in Queens (Q17, Q25, Q64, Q65, Q88). I did ride a S59 School Trip once that was from CAS. I also have ended up on a B49 school tripper once or 2 times & another school tripper on some Brooklyn line once a long time ago
  15. For me the biggest change will be no more G & V becoming the M. Even those changes are pretty much not really a big deal to me.
  16. Yea I saw you as well on Friday. Got on that bus from CI Ave & Ave J close to 2 PM & that bus came from Besonhurst. I rode that bus back from Canarsie to Midwood as the bus made a quick turnaround due to a bunch of rude kids being disrespectful & a near riot that almost would of have taken the bus out of service worse comes to worse. Sat @ Flatlands & East 82nd for nearly 5 mins, maybe slightly more while all of this went down There was some 1 from SubChat that was on the bus before I got on it. There was also a couple of bus fans @ CI Ave & Ave J when I got back over there around 3:45 I must say that I love the LFS's in general now. 0055 has very good sound effects & it rides quite well. I found out it was on Run 49 as I heard the B/O yell it out to the dispatcher by South Shore HS. I record the times it has left CI Ave, Canarsie, & when it went back out to Canarsie
  17. Nokia 3595 On T-Mobile Prepaid was my 1st phone. Been with T-Mobile since 2004
