the actually would always be the line to recieve the newest order of subway cars. The first hand me down ever was the R62A

7220 has been recoupled with its partner 7211. so now again its 7211-7220 and if that set is not in service for the longest, why does it have ads? if you saw 7211-7220, most of its LCD signs were fixed and the trucks recieved some extensive cleaning. they were probably doing it on that set also

By far, this is the most suprising move ive ever seen done. Since the R143 is so close to a R160, I decided to do some videos of the catch.

It has to do with the set up 5-6 car set up. If one set goes down they take the whole train out

There was a few more then 4 out, they do have spares in the yard

I saw some of the newer R188 (7811-7898) some of their cars had their LCD screens blacking out in some letters. I think its just due to the LCD screens being on for so long that they overheat

Why is 7211 at 4th avenue? Are they repairing the LCD screens? (Not my picture)

at this point theres only 4 more converted sets left right? Cause the last number would be 7922 for the C car

You forget to mention that the R68s are also gonna be going on the line soon and the R160 will fly to JFK

Ya, I do believe its due to over heating issues probably.

Its not that its just because its "find", but rather they can more easily make any changes to the route, Not to mention its much more clearer and it makes appear more newer. Sometimes you over analyze things, the mta has made silly choices in the past. For example. the take off trash cans from stops program, which ever it was called.

From what I know the orginal plan was to replace the dots with FINDs and replace the lighting to LED. Im not sure also if they were planing on fixing the LCD screens.

interesting is that 7211-7220, a few its exterior LCD screens have been fixed.

Ive seen these long antennas along the flushing line, is that how the computers communicate to the train? Or is it via tracks or third rail?

Again, incredibly fast. I haven't seen 7211 running at all. Is it still in the barn?
