  1. Sorry, I've been very busy with personal side projects for many months now, and they couldn't be placed on hold. I'll be back to bring this thread up to date, but I don't know when. I didn't forget.
  2. Yeah, I have various projects consuming my time. I decided to get this out of the way.
  3. I'm not sure what this sign is called... an overhead? 😅 I'll fix the signature. I resized it to conform the image size rules. -sighs- 1. You made too many requests, so of course he had the right to complain. Again, you're ungrateful and selfish, accept that fact. 2. Good luck with that, idle threats are useless. 3. Who made you the moderator here?
  4. I would've forbade him from making further requests because he doesn't know his limits. He has been extremely selfish for weeks, not giving a damn about your "free time" because in his world, he's entitled to making a crapload of requests. At least in Transit Enthusiast's defense, he hasn't requested anything since last week. But I can't decide for you. Anyways, how about a station sign?: To Coney Island-Stillwell Ave via Central Park West/6 Ave Express Express in the Bronx, weekday mornings 6:10am-12:30pm Other times, runs local on the local track.
  5. I'm fully vaccinated, thank you Moderna. But the second dose gave me a fever and chills, though they're pretty much gone now.
  6. And now you see why I never liked individuals abusing one's generosity. I hate the entitlement attitude in all honesty. In any case, thank you for the sign. I'd like to request another R179 Exterior, whenever you can is fine with me. 6 Av/Central Pk West Exp Concourse Line Express to Norwood-E 205 St
  7. I'll work on the other 2 once I have the time. Same as above, I'll do the R143 Exterior. Flipdot or Side Titan? I know I made them the same dimensions by accident, but...
  8. Sounds like someone is jealous that 1. another member that's not you is requesting digital signs and/or 2. their signs are given priority before yours. Not cool at all. No disrespect to Ben, but I'm turning off notifications for this thread. I get emails all the time and I'm tired of deleting them. Especially since most of the responses are coming from one person. Dude, try to be reasonable with your requests. You're literally the only one making requests every single day. Give others a chance. If it makes you feel any better Ben, I'd like to request an R179 Exterior LED. Take your time, I have no problem. And if you need materials for the other signs, ask me and I'll supply them to you. Jamaica Skip-Stop Express (abbreviate to "exp"/"lcl" if insufficient spaces become an issue) Nassau St Line Local via Brighton Express To Brighton Beach/Bklyn
  9. No prob, I'll do my best to work on it. I have various other projects I'm working on too. Jasc Animation shop 3. Instructions to animate are here. What type of sign? Instructions are in the OP.
  10. In all honesty, removing that bit was very unnecessary, to the point where nothing was achieved. Whenever I rode the Lexington Ave trains to work, I always loved hearing "ladies and gentleman, as you exit, please be careful of the gap between the platform and the train". They snipped the first bit, and literally sped up the bold portion, and to this day I ask my self why they bothered. They should've condensed that long "walk to transfer" announcement at 59 St instead.
  11. All my signs have been reconstructed with Paint since 2010. What bus signs can you make? I'm curious. You might as well since no one is... lol. If I were to take a guess, you'd want these?
  12. I have limited knowledge on the technical terminologies of the destination signs, but are these Twinvision? I never saw them in my area (unless it was one of those "blink and you miss it!") But the image/video below, yes.
  13. I found this on Facebook the other day, and boy the comments (and the image itself) were amusing. Which inspired me to make a new sign based on this... eventually.
  14. I'm still working on the double characters for the R142A, but the signs below look much better. Still not available. R142S: R142:
  15. Someone mentioned the Bx36 not being within Soundview (or something...) Many years ago, the then-new RTS with the expanded flipdot signage had the destination signs read RANDALL AV-PUGSLEY AV. Good god, I miss that reading...
  16. I couldn't even do that, even if my life depended on it hehe. But I commend your efforts.
  17. ^Wasn't it better to just PM him instead of reviving a 9 year old thread...?
  18. That's to be expected from newbies that don't know any better.
  19. As promised (well, not really...) Not available atm. I need to recontruct the compressed fonts and they take a long time... =/ Plus, I plan to space out the double fonts a little, they're too close together...
  20. Sadly, he's spreading unnecessary spam in different threads. In regards to the eventual replacement fleet, I'm more interested in the interior and exterior LED signs hehe.
  21. I definitely want to keep this thread active, but it would be great if it were merged. After all, it did get me involved in the "art business" 11 years ago and I'm the guy that prefers to hold onto wonderful memories... And besides, I still have every digital signs that I created the first time around, on my USB and still on my Photobucket account hehe.
  22. I miss my good friend that was a bus op on the Bx41 SBS. We used to talk all the time when I worked for Sanitation as a temp. He took me to the hub every weekday morning. He probably retired and I regret not giving him my phone number...
  23. If it were up to me, I'd go for it. Problem is, I can't even walk up the stairs at the present time (thank you, no thank you covid). So I'll just head over to my local doctor's and call it a day. Hopefully the vaccine can undo the remaining damage the virus did to me last year.
  24. I'm interested to see your collection if it's ok. Also, permission granted (an oopsie from my end).
