I read the instructions twice, thats why I didnt list elementary school since it didnt say anything in there about it, also when I went down to 180 livingston I was never told to go that far back, everything points to highschool and onwards.

You are wrong, thats not why they ask you to list your schooling. How are they going to evaluate elemtentary school years in a persons life for residency? It doesnt matter where you lived when you were a toddler, it has nothing to do with any job title. Thats the whole point of the Residence section of the application. Also in the 36 page manual that tells you how to fill out the 21 page application. It says they want you to list schools so your educational experience can be evaluted for current and future positions. It has nothing to do with verifying where you lived. Your toddler years means aboslutly nothing in reference to living situation and experience. I didnt have any problem not listing it on my app.

Thats exactly what I was told. Thats why I listed it on the 21 page application. I listed everything I could remember. I even wrote down that I probably had jobs I had forgotten about since I cant remember every job I had since High School. I was completely honest because I dont want to get fired for them thinking I intentionally left something out or lied. I take this very seriously and dont want to get pulled out of school car.

I went on Thursday for the Final Medical and Interview. Passed the medical with no problems. Met an attractive woman who was there for final medical and interview also, was surprised when she said she was there for train operator also! Then after all the medical stuff I met with the person for the interview and first thing asked was if I had any pending traffic violations on my license I had to close out. I have 2 so it was explained to me they cant hire me until I get the two tickets out of the way. Looks like I wont be in the Dec 17th class unless I can get the tickets finished off by then. Maybe its a good thing? I guess I could get first division pick when I get into the next class because of my list number having more senority right?

Training classes and etc.. arnt going to be open for the rest of the week. Resources are needed to repair the system and get it back up and runnning. When you make contact with the MTA they will tell you all of the details on when to come back.

You are making it out to be more than what it is. All of the info he is asking is public information regarding the hiring process. There are no trade secrets. Theres nothing wrong with wanting to know what to expect when the doctor examines you.

I got the letter today to go down this week. I have yet to tell my employer though. I will request a personal day off, then when I know I am invited to come to be sworn in I will give them notice. Ideally Id like to give them two weeks if thats possible, but I know it doesnt always work that way when the MTA calls you have to jump at the chance.

If you think that its unreasonable and too much information to submit your medical and criminal background information when thousands of lives are in your hands every day doing this job, then this job isnt for you. Go somewhere else where they dont care if your fat ass has a heart attack on the job.
