Anything above 9 puts you at risk for dizzy spells or blackouts. Normal is 6 so they give you some room but 9 is the top number

MTA is nothing but a scam, politicians give high paying jobs to friends and family that have zero clue at all about running a transit system. OTB made a profit until the state took over and then began to lose money. End result is OTB became the first bookie in world history to lose money. The NYTA gets about 1 billion bucks a week just from subway fares and loses money? Where does the money go?

Thanks, that was my plan but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask for advice. Funny thing is I have been working at this company for A while and this is the first time I've been asked to go away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well got a letter to report to Livingston on 6/12. Problem is that I have to leave for California on Tuesday night. If I don't go to Cali I might lose my job. Can I postpone this date, I realize I might have people jump ahead if it can be delayed, but I'm afraid on taking a chance on loosing my salary and medical benefits from my present firm. I see some people here are waiting months before they get called back. Any advice?

The "Definitive" Ranking of NYC Subway Trains
4th Ave Local replied to CenSin's topic in New York City Subway
Don't know about all the hate for the "C" train. I can't tell you how many times I switched to the "C" at Jay Street and beat the "A" to Penn Station. -

Times Square....too crowded and always seems to be 20 degrees warmer then outside.

Having rode the Culver Express back in the day here's a thought. During rush hours, have the terminate at Kings Highway. Have the that starts at Kings Highway run local starting at Church. That way passengers south of Church can wait for an for a one seat ride or take the and transfer to the AT Church. Also this would help alleviate overcrowding for the Park Slope, Carroll Gardens residents. Just reverse it for the evening.

I Remember When... NYC Subway Edition
4th Ave Local replied to Q43LTD's topic in New York City Subway
I remember when the ran Coney Island to 205 via the Culver. The ran from 179 to 2nd ave. -
I'm pretty sure NJT trains go to Sunnyside to help prevent delays, and keep traffic flowing smoother. They would have to change the switches to go to West Side Yard and that would slow down inbound Amtrak and NJT traffic. NJT trains going back to NJ are directed to tracks 1-4 because Sunnyside doesn't connect with those tracks.
