  1. No offense, but from the responses this thread is getting, I don't think anyone here is interested in the school car experience. Why don't you wait until school car is over and then just write up a summary of your experiences? Reading that would be far more interesting and helpful than reading what you had for lunch.
  2. There is actually no scientific evidence that diet soda and cancer are linked. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/diet-soda/AN01732
  3. What they really need is a new track and switch at 149 so that the can go down 7th Ave.
  4. "Kept" failing the medical? I only failed the medical once. And I have plenty of friends at Woodlawn. I'm a celebrity there. When I walk through the door, everyone literaly stops what they are doing. I know everyone there on a first name basis.
  5. I take it you don't want to hear my grand idea to have the and stop at Hoyt Street or for the to stop at Bowling Green... Or to build a switch and track at 149 St. upper so that the can travel down 7th Ave.
  6. That's funny because last week I worked the and all 4 trains I worked on during the day were 142As.
  7. Stupid question, but how could have the workers drowned if the terminal is elevated?
  8. Enjoy school car because it will be the last time for a long time that you get to work "normal" business hours. And your lucky you got to choose which division to go to. I wish I had that option.
  9. I carry a big lunch and a 2 liter bottle of soda. And yes, on most days, there is a 2 liter bottle of soda in my bag.
  10. The station is virtually pitch black. Any pictures you take will come out crummy. Before the storm hit, you could have gotten good pictures of South Ferry from the Bowling Green loop since the station lgihts were on at that time.
  11. How come you didn't say hello to me Snowblock if you saw me? And carrying a big bag comes in handy because I carry my lunch in there. So if I ever get stuck somewhere, I'm never seperated from my food.
  12. Oh yes, the 3rd rail jumpers. Those are fun. When I did it, I had to do it much longer than everyone in my class because, right when it was my turn, the train dumped. So I had to hold it until the train could re-charge.
  13. Don't worry. School car is not that bad. Before you know it, you will be posting on all the lines.
