Well as long as we're talking about splitting bus routes here... 1. (Q30): Split with QV for school runs. 2. (Q17): Split with CS for Jamica bound runs (AM Rush Hours only). 3. (Q27): Split with CS for Flushing bound runs (Rush Hours only) Most of these are to assist in deadheads & easing congestion for depot buses.

@ JFK yes as I witnessed an RTS with JFK logos moments ago but CS I'm not exactly sure. On a transfer note #4472 is back @ JA. Just seen it w/Corresponding JA stickers.

To add on to this #6461 also has the new scheme. I seen it on the (Q46) a few moments ago.

I JUST saw #6473 w/the new scheme! Looks like it's QV's turn to recieve the new scheme for their OG' s.:cool:

That reminds me. A couple of months ago I saw #4915 with an old $1.50 sticker myself. It amazed me for the fact that the stickers were still around. The moment slightly let me relive days they were better fare wise.

Orion V #6174 now @ CS, as I just shot a photo of it still w/CAS stickers. Add: So is #6188 being the same way.

Oh, here's another curveball. It was actually a Bayside bound (Q31). Plus since I saw at Jamaica (the beginning of the route) it appeared to have been a regular run. Mainly yes, but QV does school trippers on the (Q31) so their buses are seen from time to time.

Warning, the following is to be a Shocker: I've just seen NovaBus RTS-06 #9231 on the (Q31) w/ West Farms Stickers!

MCI D4500 #2876 is now property of QV just saw it on the X63.

A few minutes ago I've seen an Nova RTS perphaps on the (Q60) looking to make a stop. This is a far-fetched guess as I'm not sure but it could be perphaps #9194. I didn't get a clear look at the bus but the numbers looker sinilar so it's a possible transfer. P.S. The bus had JA Stickers.

Witnessed Orion VII OG #3552 on the (Q111) w/ JFK Stickers. Could be a loaner or a keeper...

Not all Hybrid but they make up like half of the CS Fleet. Plus remember that they have the 6XXX Orion V's so there will still be diesels @ Stengel even with the 6XX's gone.

It's believed that the #4453-4482 batch may go to Casey Stengel to kick out the rest of the 600's to retirement over there @ CS. What will Jamaica get might be the remandier of the '96 RTS @ QV & few from LGA, FP and/or Storage. IMO if this happened earlier (In December) they could've sent some of QV's '96 RTS back to Jamaica like #8907, #8933 etc to push the 44XX NG's to Stengel. But that's just what I think.

Orion V CNG #9841 back @ CP w/JG stickers. I've seen it running on the (Q25) earlier.

Shame the was my (possibly) last '96 RTS to have ridden out of a QV route. Had it yesterday on the (Q46).

The V-731 Tranny Is just 3 Gears? I probably got it confused since I thought was lockup was something else in the transmission. As for the second part I already got the hint from other buses I've seen. One for instance would be #9354. It actually one of the best sounding 2nd gears in the RTS fleet. However they fixed it last winter. Hasn't been the same way since. Another would be #9371 making an similar sound in 2nd & 3rd gears. Eventually for the 2nd gear it got fixed. I had a feeling they'd fix it because I saw it parked on Hoarce Harding Expressway with it's rear engine panel/door open.

Well IMO if any RTS's was to get B/O Shields I'd think the Overhauled RTS should get them.Since they'll be here longer It'll be more beneifical or them to have the shields. --------- My notes: While in my absence I rode two outta control RTS 9545: That bus's 4th gear took me out of my State of Mind. I suggest that being one to hunt for. Just make sure you have a fast B/O. 9556: That bus is one of those RTS that has weird sound effects. I suggest that one two. JFK getting RTS: Seeing some on the roster really cleaned house on my mind. I'm happy to see JFKgeting their taste of RTS once mor. More the reason to ride their routes again.

To those that missed me...

I think #9010 is a Jamaica Bus. First I saw it on the (Q76) tripper last week. Today I've seen it on the (Q30).

This evening I saw Orion VII OG #6854 w/ Freshly painted hard seats from outside. It's kinda interesting how they'd do this with a bus that was born after '96 as I haven't seen an NYCTA original bus without cloth padded seats since then.

No it's not. If it was on the (M5) it means that it's @ MHV because the (M5) is an MHV bus route.
