Are some of the new MCI's being resent back to MCI and then back to Howell? When I do bus trips from Pittsburgh to Columbus, OH, I drive I-70 and I usually see the new MCI's with NJT Livery on them heading to NJ. Weird that last week I saw 7278-7284 going Eastbound while I was going Westbound. No pics. I was driving the bus with passengers. Sorry.

The 317 and 319 is sorta like NJT's version of Greyhound with long trips. Doesn't the 317 run LAV buses?

Ok, I been out the loop. I saw on another site that there are Hybrids coming with numbers 4008-4054. What the? When was this order made and who is getting them?

320 is Meadowlands

Notice: 7332 and 7333 was scene Sunday morning by yours truly in Columbus, OH en route to NJ. Should of made it by the time the storm started unless they rested in Pittsburgh or some other location and waited at the hotel to see what was the situation with Juno.

Rather dumb when those seats could be used for the 153 express in the morning and the 159 60th Street Express in the Afternoon as well as when they're doing the 128 after the rush hours

I was still in NY when everything calmed down after that. All I can say is it's a good thing that bus wasn't going any faster than what was said or that would of been a major, major tragedy. Surely the people on the bus and anyone on the ground/street would of been killed if that bus went over if that bus went any faster and that wall wasn't as strong as it is.

Oradell plays games when I was driving. I had situations where I was doing the 128 to NY, and then all of the sudden, you see a 165 or 166, and they would stay behind me, change the sign to NOT IN SERVICE, and make me bust my butt all because I have a 45 while they have a 40 with maybe 20 people inside and room for 29 more people and a few standee's during RUSH HOUR AM service. That would so PISS ME OFF. SO much that I pulled over, told one drive I had a breakdown, so he went on, and starting picking up people. Note that by the time he left, I reappeared as NOT IN SERVICE and blew him away. He had a full bus from 48th on while I had 36 people and had CLEAR sailing. Next time, he knew now to F with me. You gotta work just like I do or just don't work. That's one of the things I don't miss with NJT: you gotta take people so just take them. At least with GLI, the only reason I can't take no one is because all seats are taken and we don't allow standees (although if they're going from Newark to NYC, I'll take a few for a 20 minute trip. No big deal).

You know it's sad when I have Greyhound drivers tell me to keep going. I'm like, F.U. It's a RR Crossing. I'm stopping. It's the LAW no matter what. They they say why do you open the door? Again, I need to hear and see. I mean, I dunno. I wish I was back at NJT so bad.

This might be of some interest for the people doing the updates: Oradell is assisting Meadowlands with the 320 Meadowlands is assisting Ironbound with the 111 and 115 if needed Yours truly came to visit the old Meadowlands garage while I was on vacation from the hound. These changes were verified by my fellow bus operators at Meadowlands.

126 can use all the help it gets. Its gets way too crowded. Sardine can crowded. As for the 102DL3's that NJT retired, don't be surprised if Greyhound might want to take a look at a few since they need buses badly.

MCI in Greenville? That'll be the day. Never. NEVER. As for losing the suburbans, good. Transits fit more people, and with the 126 and 87 as their major lines, they need as much room and seats as they can get.

Meadowlands can do the 139 if there is a need for drivers. Don't forget that in case there was a bus breakdown near Meadowlands, they could use a Meadowlands bus to do the route.

The first Clever Devices that came out on the NABI's, dudes were not even logging IN the system, just punching in their destination. If that has changed since, I dunno. I'm hoping that there's a way to punch in the old destination sign codes instead of picking the route and then picking where you're going since some people got it wrong. There's too many legs on some routes as well as different starting/ending points. For example, the 84 in the early am used to have trips start on 32nd and Bergenline to JSQ or Nunguessers, and there was a DEST setting where the bus started from 32nd and Bergenline. Some chose the wrong setting and now wonder why the system was calling the wrong stops. LOL

What was the reason for reposting a old roster?

Howell did say those buses are more tug and pull when it comes to turning unlike the previous models when they first came up here. NJT still stunns me. Why don't they have a number destination sign on the SIDE of the bus like all of their buses do? They kept it MTA style which looks horrible.
