Why not? It's a good idea. At least you'll know when the buses actually leave the property.

I think it’s because once the units listed on here were on the first page update, that means that it’s no longer in NYCT/ MTA Bus system and that we know it’s a done deal for some. But, numbers do revive on time being like 5011 and 5012 as New Flyers as they are at JFK vendor.

  2. The following units are at the scrap yard:

    * 4162: white front regular MTA Bus unit also at ECH for local service

    * 4345: Eastchester and Zerega training,

    * 4353 with 4358: previously at JFK

    * 4465: Queens Village to Zerega as training bus

Said retired units have been towed and now present/confirmed at the scrapyard: 3964, 4164 and 4586

    - 4202 was towed to ECH today, it had a Farebox removal yesterday night before 12 AM at JFK

Next Generation units at JFK converted for parts: 3976, 4563

  3. I know at certain times that a move that a user can post is false, heck, I know I'm part of this in the past. But, when you get told in previous posts that a certain bus isn't retired or so, I think they'll know by now what not to do. If a bus is said as retired but next day later it's back on the road, I can consider that 100% as false. Sometimes, a certain unit is said as a mistake, it's a reminder, think and look carefully next time you post because you get only 1 hour to edit. Buses retired ended up at Zerega, like @MysteriousBtrain said between ECH scrap, it's no problem, just a similarity that it's not mistaken as a out of service unit in passenger service (unless it's subject to change like 4378 and 4582). I can understand false moves being brought up but, for instance, if it's daily and happening a lot, I can see that as a very big problem and headaches to the first page update.

But, even though it's brought up not to post anything false, it's worse when users bring your name up for a report history like "he posts or repeats garbage all the time". Tbh, some repeats are mentioned so, that it's understandable that when a certain unit is said as retired, it's at ECH scrap as removal from passenger service. This doesn't make you better than others but is worse criticism if your telling him that you posting mistakes is a complete waste that shouldn't belong here. Everyone should have respect towards others (even if you don't like others on the outside). If you have something bad to say, keep it to yourself. I put this out because in reality, if that person felt upset about a bad reputation, you can have this feeling for others on what they went through and how to do better in the future.

  4. There's a change in the (R) train schedule that took effect on April 1st, when the (F) was back at 63rd St, Roosevelt Island and 21 St-Queensbridge:

    * There are only 2 trains during the AM rush that goes out of service, the usual (Q) to Coney Island from the tripper to 96 St and just 7:47 AM from Forest Hills to 59 St, Brooklyn. They both come back from the Coney Island Yard PM hours as a 3:17 and 3:48 from 36 St station where the (D) and (N) are at.

2483  is under going long term maintenance and probably the same with 1306. As for the ECH NGs, people were saying that some would get transferred to other MBC depots but, I don’t know now…

Some are at Eastchester, some are at Zerega, some are in storage unless there are second thoughts. For now, they may not go to other MTA Bus depots due to more XD-40s and LFS arriving recently.

That's 26 NTTs for the "A" train. I wonder how many NTTs does the "C" train have now that the "M" train is back to normal service.

    Two R211T trainsets + 9 8-car trains out of 11 8-car trains with a 4-car spare for the R179s out of 207 St = 13 full trains with a 4-car leftover.

I just witnessed 3302 on the QM17 at Beach 73 Street under the (A) in the Rockaways with a LGA sticker. Is this also a transfer?

It may be a loan because sometimes, LGA does send MCIs to depots like College Point to cover their units that's out of service to be brought back days later.

Far Rockaway has been getting recent LGA, Spring Creek and Baisley Park loans lately due to their MCIs and Prevosts getting maintenance done. I’m surprised College Point didn't come help

College Point uses almost all their Express buses during the rush hour.
