  1. Eastchester won't be sending anymore Next Gens to either LGA or JFK. They sent 4020-4022, 4024-4036, 4140 over for now as replacements to retire the Old Gens that aren't in good condition anymore and that the Nova LFS order was on pause or slowly delivered at that time. Same with Baisley Park. Although, Eastchester has 6 Next Generation units running for now. At this time, one of their XD-40s are going through repairs like 9356.
  2. A lot of people came to Chinatown in Manhattan in celebration of the Lunar New Year Parade. Although, at that hour between 1-3 PM that passed, M103 bus service was very limited. There were 5 M103's coming in from City Hall at the same time that happened at 2:30 PM. Some M103s that's at the direction toward City Hall were instructed to stay put and wait till it's clear to move while a M103 behind has to follow the M103 up front to clear the way.
  3. 4023: LGA to ECH then removed from service at JFK. Payment options were removed this week and the V3 screens on-board is no longer in use.
  4. 3962 (LGA unit) and 4416 (BP to JFK) both ex NYCT units are retired from service. Both units had their payment options removed.
  5. 9285: delivered and present from the vendor to LaGuardia Depot And also, 9127: delivered and spotted at JFK.
  6. With Eastchester now having almost their entire local fleet out of XD-40s, 4141 and 4142 (units that has bars for rear door access) are retired from service, JFK and ECH. Both having fareboxes and OMNY removed.
  7. They are actually spotted and looked at LGA in-person at the far left side of the depot by the grass covered fences. 4582 is in the middle. All 3 have front doors open but the payment options (OMNY and Farebox) were taken out. 4376 is there but on the right side that’s mentioned and on the list. It also has its main payment options removed. 4408 is gone.
  8. 4450, 4548 and 4582: LGA are retired from passenger service. Used as parts units plus OMNY and Farebox removed.
  9. They don't merge the R142 units on the like that. 6301-6345, 6351-6715 are mated with each other because they are out of 239 St Yard while 6716-7130 are at East 180 Street Yard.
  10. Yes, they are. All are there in and out of their assigned depot. 4052 that's at Baisley Park had that same problem back then but they fixed the GPS afterwards. Still in-service.
  11. A little notice when it comes to upcoming buses being retired, not to be negative or as said above disrupting info, when checking units, please try not to use the online tracker to determine final word that it's retired. Some of the units are actually out in passenger service, however, after maintenence at the depot, the tracker on some are disabled and cannot be looked at. Units are 4011 and 4072 that's in-service but won't pop up online. * 4074 (in passenger service but may also not be online)
  12. The R62A trains cars that were seen during the 96 St derailment: 2206-2210 and 2271-2275 are back in service. They are at 350 cars, 35 trains. 2176-2180, 2411-2415 are the pairs with heavy damage. 1896-1900 is a parts units at 240 St Yard.
  13. No, it was not.. It was only mentioned at the fleet topic that they are at the vendor (it's not considered as a transfer) and they will reach to approxinemently 10 units when all are delivered. But for now, not all of them are at LGA.
  14. They did have a total of 30 units back then as Next Gens as their main local fleet. Gained 3 buses extra. But from the post, it's a yes. Basically, 40 in total. Although, the units rotate between the two (it may not be 20/20 but whatever is sent to FR as they also have LFS Novas in their pool) but still marked as JFK.
  15. Added on unit, 4486: Eastchester unit that was first out of LGA, retired but used as a parts bus.
  16. 4037, 4454: MTA Bus Next Gens had version 3 screens but no longer in use as they are retired.
  17. * 9272, 9277, 9278, and 9279 are present at the JFK vendor. Waiting to be delivered to LGA. Once they are at the depot, they will be around 10 units present at said location. * Also, Eastchester has completed their XD-40 order that started around October 2023 up to now February 2024. With the exception of one unit, 9354 that's subject to change.
  18. 4392, 4454: Baisley Park retired from passenger service with no OMNY and Farebox. it serves as a parts units for the remainder NG fleet for now. Although, BP still has enough buses for service, 43 in total.
  19. The Version 3 screens on 4145 has been disabled. The bus was retired after months of storage at JFK.
  20. 6021: Casey Stengel XD-60 unit has the blue and gold wrap treatment
  21. It may sound wrong but in my opinion, with more R211s running on the by the springtime. Pitkin Yard should move some of their R46s sets and AA units over to Coney Island Yard for the to avoid any shortages that can happen. Retirement can wait. The even sets, not much can be covered for at least 1 train of R68s that runs on the Franklin Av Shuttle. Coney Island uses most of the R68/As at times that they barely have spares. Although, most of the R46s at the yard are put to rest including the rush hour.
  22. There is a quote from a person on the comment out of the new XD-40 that was at LGA. Also, present at a NYC Bus & Motor Coach group that featured a photo of 9029 that was first at JFK Depot. He actually is out of JFK Depot and was said that 40 units are expected for the said depot. I know I mentioned 20 per depot but it's only out of the math that 1/2 of 40 is 20 but the numbers are not straight assigned between JFK and FR. Although, it's understandable to wait until they get a standard XD-40 there so, there won't be any predications that'll be wrong.
