If anyone knows where these cars currently are, please notify me via this thread.
  3. It will... any pre-2003 MCI will have to go with these Preosts.
  4. There is no such thing as the school car program anymore if I heard correctly; the program stopped in 2011-2012.
  5. You're right; anyway 711 has answered our question lol.
  6. Just 1002 is out of service for now, though 1010 still doesn't exist (from 1001-1026).
  7. Soon enough you will get another refute... people are saying stuff on chat bout you lol, though I'm just remaining neutral about the whole thing.... AAANYWAY, how are the Orion 5 CNGs and ex-Bee Line Orion 5s holding up? Any recent retirements as of late?
  8. Yea mun those R44s screwed up the intended replacement pattern.
  9. I guess that swap was coming true again... or maybe these were lucky backups or something?
  10. Wow, didn't know they started the mockup already! Wonder when they will deliver it and where they'll show it!
  11. Nice to see R32s possibly returning on the QBL and 6th ave... the last train left 3 years ago when that R32 stopped running.
  12. Wow, so we cud have been seeing a R42 or then... interesting plan they had. Anyone know what happened to other R33WFs, R40s 4162-4163 (Concourse school cars), R40As 4392-4393 (Rockaway Pk. school cars), and R40As 4442-4443 (Concourse school cars), since non-R44 equipment is now being scrapped.
  13. That was quite an interesting documentary... real nice to see old stuff (R10s, R27s, R30s) in service right before my eyes!
  14. Not saying I'm totally right, but let me clarify some stuff: 1.) 3352-3353 are NOT in service... Phase-2 R32s have since been retired and disposed of, with the exception of 3350-3353, which are preserved and on-property. 2.) The mothballed R32s were actually stripped on the outside since 2011-2012, so scrapping those units makes sense. As for R32s 3720-3721, I have no knowledge on them except that they are OOS at Coney, so a reactivation of those 2 cars is possible. The mothballed R42s were also marked "NOT OK FOR SERVICE" according to a reliable source, just in case those cars were actually crumbling down too. I also do agree that the mothballed units have encountered serious floods from Irene and Sandy, so that could be a factor too. So saving the OOS R32s would have been impossible anyway, although those R42s could have been saved (10 mothballed R42s remain as of now, so those COULD be very slight possibilities).
  15. Don't think that was supposed to be a burn... and so cold water is unnecessary.
  16. Wow, this sounds nice! The only problem I see, however, is the lack of layup tracks west of Essex (the closest are at Chambers St. , or they could relay in the Chrystie St. Tunnel... idk)
  17. What happened to RTS-06 5088? Someone spotted it as retired.
  18. So that post on Subchat WAS true... looks like I get more opportunities when I come lol.
  19. Wonder if the MTA Bus D60s are being retired again... and I wonder why ex-5252 could be going OOS again though it has a good 1 year left lol.
