Nice shots 711, but would you happen to know why these units were retrofitted with the LEDs (flimsy flipdots maybe?)? Also, it's interesting to see how the MTA isn't reactivating the LED units for MTA bus....

I have lots of shit on Google Earth... I wish there was a way to upload Google Earth stuff onto google maps....
I think only one pair was actually taken off property (3746/47); the other two pairs are still used for parts or something (3676/77 & 3797/97)... another pair (3720/21) is also at CIY but I have no idea about its status.
I don't think any retired R42s are being reactivated... those 14 units at 207th are just not qualified for service. (or at least it doesn't look like it)
So, it seems that 3 R32 sets (24 cars) are slated to operate temporarily on the ... wonder how this will turn out... and I wonder if more will be transferred...
