I passed by a towtruck with an NG on the hooks earlier. If only I wasn't driving and it wasn't dark, I would have caught the bus number. -

I tried to check two MetroCards I got last year, neither of which expire until 2017, and the MVM at Sutphin-JFK told me both were invalid for refill. Since I had somewhere to be that day, I just bought another one. Why would the MVM tell me that neither card was good? Was the stripe damaged beyond repair? -
It must have been fun taking the old N2 or N3 from VS all the way to Jamaica.

It's still the experience that makes it horrible. It takes forever to get anywhere and most of this is because there are only 2-3 buses an hour on all but a few routes.

I managed to finally get a view inside one. I saw about 5 people onboard, not including the driver. This was around sunset, so it was rush hour. I guess it's better than allocating a full length bus.

I sure love those pictures of Solages in the Flexis. I wonder how long he had to put up with that.

No respectable company should ever have to deal with that. I can deal with a bus being behind on maintenance, but to not have enough fuel to make it that far through a shift?

I saw 1922 on the n4 earlier. If I had any reason to be near Mitchel Field, especially on a bus, I'd probably have seen more by now.

It seems to offer a bit more room than all-forward facing seats.

F1010 is also around. I think F1016 is still in service but with the new buses arriving, the latter is parked behind RVC or something waiting to be scrapped.

I rode the N24 for about 3 weeks for school. Occasionally, it would make up time only to lose it at lights.

I'm far more concerned that routes that were formerly SRO after a certain time of day actually have seats available during the rush. Then again, I see quite a few more breakdowns and buses that are just so off-schedule, they might as well not have started the run.

What would have been a classic case of the Mondays was shifted two days.

I've seen a few more of those RVC community shuttles but I don't know what model they use or how many people are actually using them.

Found one of those N17 minibuses or whatever. They're essentially paratransit trucks painted in a neat-looking blue and orange livery. It was too dark for me to take a pic.

I pass by RVC station all the time and have only seen NG after NG.
