  1. Or you could have the dig a tranfer from Queensboro Plaza to Queens Plaza, and you could have people boad the train at Queens Plaza, and ride one stop down to 23rd Street-Ely Avenue, and have them then transfer on to the which would get them to Brooklyn without going to Manhattan.
  2. A crosstown line. Without going to Manhattan interesting. It's similar to the . Though your idea allows a one seat ride from Bronx to Queens which I am also trying to accomplish on the map too. The best idea would be extend the Astoria Line to the Bronx, bring back the , and run it from Whitehall Street up to Pelham Bay Park with it's own alignment since the can't run with the . Here is what my idea looks like
  3. Isn't a Tenth Avenue Subway better as an extension too since the is right near Tenth Avenue. Anyway such a subway doesn't have to go all the way up to 207th Street since it would compete with the current Eighth Avenue Line services. It's best to have it terminate at 59th Street-Columbus Circle to better serve the farther regions of the West Side.
  4. I though there were several existing subway stations along Church Avenue. Though if you send the via along Church Avenue the cost would be extremely high. You would have to tunnel your way across. Why do that when an existing line that has room for extra tracks that can be rebuilt for subway use just exist a mile away.
  5. That's the thing. People would board existing subway lines, and ride down there to transfer to the . It helps a bit everyday by allowing people to transfer.
  6. Ask the Staten Islanders. Some of them think the subway is literally still in the late 1970's to the early 1980's. Those were good times weren't they joking.
  7. The SIR is a railroad. Plus some Staten Islanders don't want the subway for fears of crime. A better idea is to use the current 2 remaining tracks on the LIRR Bay Ridge Branch which are railroad tracks, and send it into a tunnel to St. George. The Staten Islanders won't have to be afraid of crime, because of the high fares or that is what they think. Also it can run down the current SIR tracks without too much modifications to the line. The Bay Ridge Line is also connected to the Atlantic Branch a current passenger branch which is also helpful, and it's also right by the waterfront too. If you walk to the end of the Bath Beach Boardwalk you can see the tracks. If you send it into a tunnel from there it can make it to Staten Island. It's shorter too, and it would go directly to Saint George. Also a Manhattan connection is impossible. There are too many subway tunnels in Lower Manhattan. The tunnel would bump into other tunnels along the way, and also the isn't a good option, because South Ferry is too close to the Waterfront to dip under the harbor. There are no stations near the location on the Bay Ridge Branch, and if you move the tracks back a bit you can have the right alignment to go under the harbor.
  8. Though if the you give the current this alignment it would work. Plus a section of existing railroad the LIRR Bay Ridge Branch is down here. The Bay Ridge Branch can carry a total of 6 tracks. They removed 4 tracks over the years so they only have 2 tracks for current operations. You could have 2 tracks certified for subway usage, and send the down this line taking the load off all the buses, because a train can carry more people then a bus. Plus the cars are usually short. An 8 car train would not just take people off the B35 it would reduce crowding on all buses.
  9. Won't a crosstown Brooklyn Line with the current work better then a .
  10. One of the other things I would do is extend the from it's current Canarsie base down to 20th Avenue on the Sea Beach Line to create a crosstown Brooklyn Line to take the load off the buses crossing Brooklyn.
  11. Why are we talking about the Secaucus extension anyway, and again the won't work. New Jersey riders want direct access to Midtown, and the East Side. That is why the ARC tunnel was planned to go on to Grand Central Terminal. The only other train that goes by Grand Central that I would even consider extending is the from it's current terminal. The , and the are almost the same. They both run by Grand Central which New Jersey riders want, and they both run by the East Side. The doesn't go anywhere near them. The would better being sent up Tenth Avenue to 59th Street-Columbus Circle to better serve the unserved sections of the West Side which isn't served by the Eighth Avenue Line.
  12. -125th Street to Hanover Square. We can all keep dreaming or pretend to create that, because budget problems would never allow it to be fully completed.
  13. Hey dude thanks for the old signs, but can you make me a new one. -Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue -Sixth Avenue Express -West End Local -Fourth Avenue Express -Concourse Express
  14. Exactly it's the NYC Subway. Several million people use it per week including tourists. If you don't like it then use some other method of transportation. It's public transportation not your private chauffeur so be happy or get out.
  15. Actually the real order for the R188's as of 12/2010 is: Hopefully the remaining 240 R142A's would be split between the , and the .
  16. For some reason I have this gut feeling that Kawasaki would take 50/50 from both the , and the , so they could build the R188's for the , . Though I would a bit upset if they took all the R142A's from the line or the , line, because it won't really be fair if you left a line with old equipment when the originally promised them new equipment.
  17. thanks for correcting my mistake

  18. To tell you the truth I became a railfan because I liked almost every single train in the New York City Subway Systems. The ones I really like and miss are OTT-Old Technology Trains. I like the R32's, R38's, R42's, R44's, R46's, R62's, and R68's/A's. I grew up with them. I was used to their vibrations, their sounds, and their movements. They were the reason I became a railfan. The NTT's don't really do that.
  19. I am going to add to my list a few post ago. -Foamers all they want to talk about is R160's tell them to get a fu*king life already.
  20. I would like to add to mines. -Foamers -Dirty people -Pedophiles -Perverts -Thieves -Murderers -Bugs -Greedy people -Jerks that think they know everything.
  21. What I hate. -People that won't shut up. -Girls that act stupid so they would look cool -Stupid women -People that accuse other people of their problems when they had done nothing wrong. -Jerks that think they know everything but they don't -Immature People -Dumb people that hold up everything -Dumb drivers on the highway ruining it for everyone -How long it's taking to complete the Second Avenue Subway -Fat people especially the ones that think they are cool but they are just dumb bimbos. -Gay people for what they do -People that mention Kaila Avenue. A nonexistent avenue especially the , (P) idea. -People that enter a dream world frequently and thinks they can live in it. -People that only want revenge when someone just mentions something. -People that fight for their own greed. -The rich for doing a bad job in helping the poor. -Rich Snobs. I think that is about it.
  22. I know but it only has something to do with the purple and lilac color skies which is impossible.
  23. When you run into the hospital FtrainFan. Say this "Help me doctor. I have a severe mental issue that allows me to imagine the clouds and the skies in pink and purple. I dream about things that make me paranoid. In fact I am paranoid so someone help me"
