  1. Oh shit! that would be awesome! To have a transit museum & to have a subway right there in the view! That would be freakin awesome!
  2. I hope you guys dont think I'm part of these stuck up country club people. I live in Crown heights. I'm fine with pretty much everything in the system. I dont care if I have to take 2 buses & then a train or what neighborhood I go through, as long as it get me to where I'm going & back, within a reasonable amount of time
  3. How am I suppose to find a map? the map on the MTA website is locked to adobe. If you can show me to where I can find a map I would be more than happy to try my best to describe it. Please spell it out for me.
  4. True, but doesnt mean I'm going to like or agree with him
  5. My brothers go to school on a school bus provided by the city & we just got a notice that they may go on strike:tdown: Barely prevent a war? They barely make peace. Israel, is & always has been treated like crap when it came to the UN. Benjamin Netanyahu (Israeli Prime minister) said it perfectly, "the UN is one big joke".
  6. Man, these people are ridiculous. It's a nice neighborhood, but come on. Thanks for the info guys!
  7. you guys all make it sound as if these people are stuck up people who cant lower themselves down to these neighborhoods or to the subway, LOL.
  8. I wanted to see how long it would take me to get from country club to midtown via the . it took me, surprisingly, about an hour and a half & a little less than 2 hours to Sterling St (even with all the delays due to the construction). Now, I'm not a big fan of having to take 2 buses & then a train, but then again I'm not going to die from it. I had to take the Bx24 to Pelham Bay, transfer to the Bx12 & transfer to the . Now I was thinking, would it be a crazy idea to extend the Bx24 to WPR or E 180 St?
  9. Dude, did you even read what I wrote? Blue, as in 8 Ave? Spring St & Sixth Ave is still the Eighth Ave , & . I should have wrote "The would run under Spring St, till 6 Ave & merge with the on the express track." I'm sorry if you misunderstood, but I figured people would know, that Spring St & Sixth Ave, is still the Eighth Ave line & I wrote "from 14 St (8 Ave) till 59 St Columbus Circle"
  10. Thank you very much! Nah, I dont think it's TOO long, especially when there's skip-stop & express along the line. When I want to make sure a Fantasy line isnt too long, I compare it to the , & .
  11. Because, that one was all the way at the end. I waited a few day, but nobody responded, so I started a new one. Please let me know what you think.
  12. Please give me your feedback about this. The new 8 Ave, blue Start at Francis Lewis Boulevard & Jamaica Avenue continues down Jamaica Avenue till 168 St. Curves from Jamaica to 168 to Archer Ave to merge back with the . Two way skip-stop service between Sutphin Blvd & Myrtle Ave (all times except nights) & two way express service between Myrtle & Marcy Avenues, underground (also all times except nights) Right before Bowery, the & would diverge from each other & Bowery will be an "express/local" looking station, with both sides open to accommodate the & . After Bowery, the would run under Spring Street, till 6 Ave & merge with the on the express track. The will run express from 14 St (8 Ave) till 59 St Columbus Circle all times. After 59 Street, it will run east under Central Park & 68 St till 2 Avenue & then merge with the on the express track of the 2 Ave line (also all times). The & will run till 125 St in Manhattan then 3 Ave-138 St in The Bronx, then before 3 Ave-149 St the would diverge from the & & become the IND Castle Hill line. The would run up 3 Ave, Boston Road, E 180 St, E Tremont Ave & Castle Hill Ave. The stops would be like this from after 3 Ave-149 St. 157 St / 3 Avenue 168 St / 3 Avenue 170 St / Boston Road Crotona Pkwy / E 180 St E 180 St / Morris Park Ave, transfer to the , & the IRT E 180 St (created by me, of course) White Plains Road / E Tremont Ave Westechester Ave / Castle Hill Ave, transfer to the & Bruckner Boulevard / Castle Hill Ave Castle Hill-Randall Ave / Castle Hill Ave
  13. Only snow can truly make NYC look beautiful! Oh the weather outside is frightful.....let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
  14. dont you guys know that these day common sense is, if someone takes your seat or the seat you are going after, you just pull out a knife?

  16. I like the countdown clocks. I'm not sure what pisses me off more. When I wait in a station and it takes forever for a train to come or if I arrive at a station & the next train will arrive at a crazy amount of time? I had to wait one time for a train at 125 st for 16 minutes at 11:30 AM  does it make sense for a train to have 10 minute headways during the day or 8 minutes. I know it's only 2 minutes, but it's still valuable time.
  17. I know this doesnt apply to anyone specific. Just look at 2 Ave. I know that it's not going to ever happen, but do you think it would be crazy to have the track stacked like I said or is that going to far? I personally think It's great having Eastern Parkway & the 4 Ave express. Of course when I wrote this, I meant that even Hoyt Street should give access to Lexington Ave (through re-constructing the line of course) but I was just bringing an example. Yes, thank you for answering my questions!
  18. First of all, what are NIMBY's? Second, everybody always says, express service isnt needed, it kinda is & yes I'm including the White Plains line, that could use some express. Why dont people say we dont need Eastern Parkway Express or 4 Ave express, only on lines that dont have bi-directional express service do people say it's not needed. If I said Flushing line needs bi-directional express service, is that going to get shot down also? I personally think the White Plains line is in need of bi-directional express service. & I didnt answer my own question, I answered the people that said the should be local in The Bronx, cause of bigger demand. So if, people are saying the should be the local on the White Plains line if it had 2 way express, is pretty much like saying, the & should be local on the Eastern Parkway line. I wasn't answering my own question.
  19. At some stations this could make sense to remove garbage bins. Like, most of the line or the line, at Bowery maybe or even 21 St-Van Alst, not at 8 St or Main St where there are floods of people taking the subway. Yeah, because it's being dumped on the trains. I'm starting to realize that trains are getting dirtier.
  20. Ok, this makes sense. Thank you! Ok, nobody seems to get what I'm saying. I'm saying the AND should both go to New Lots, the would join the on the same track east of Utica Ave, like the & by Nostrand Ave. What's wrong with the & going to New Lots? There's two tracks to store trains & the Yard. It seems a lot of people on the Livonia Ave line need train's. I know this is crazy, but why not stack the tracks like at W 8 St on the & ? Have the Manhattan bound local & express on the upper lever & Bronx bound express & local on the lower level. Also, the people that are traveling the furthest are E 180 St & north. That's mainly who the express would be for. This is what I'm talking about. I'm also applying this to the southbound . It would diverge from the express track & dip down & at President St merge with that would save some time not conflicting with the . Like you said, what's there is there, but if the HAPPENS to see this, hey take it into consideration! Anyway, I still think the White Plains line needs bi-directional express service, with the being the express, maybe even an express stop at Simpson St. Having the run express all times except nights or at least weekdays. Now I know there is bigger demand for trains, but that's why transferring was made. In Brooklyn, there is bigger demand for Lex, but people at local stops have only 7 Ave. So, should the switch the (4)/(5) to the local? No. So they just have to transfer at Franklin ave or Nevins St. I dont see the big deal of people in the Bronx having to transfer to the from a ? On weekends when I need Lex, I have to take a to Franklin Ave to get a & I dont complain I just accept it.
