Some Roger Arcara Transportapes that were recently added to youtube.....pretty cool vids: IRT footage from the 1940's to the 70's: IND and BMT from the 1940's to the 80's - this vid is fantastic(loved seeing the R-9 KK & J cars on the Jamaica line in the 70's and seeing 168th St. station in action before it was torn down, MTA racing stripe R-27/30's on the CS, R-32's, racing stripe and dark green R-10's to Rockaway, R-11's, R-40 slants ,R-38's, blue striped R-44's and so on ) 3rd Ave El in the Bronx Myrtle Ave El in the 50's and 60's

bumping up......"what's old is new again"....or should I say "what's new is old again".

I really miss the R-27/30's.

I remember the first time I saw these(I'm pretty sure it was on the , long time ago lol)..and I thought they hadn't finished painting them yet because there were no blue stripes.

So Clean,So White....not such a good idea.

True.....now if I saw this at Rockaway,I'd really foam !!

Beautiful......they look 100x better with the front roll signs and indicator lights as compared to the abominations they became post GOH.
