  1. Wow I am very sorry to hear about him. Condolences. I enjoyed all of his work and I hope he is in a better place now.
  2. Awesome Green, I knew you would never let us down. Keep up the good work man.
  3. Green, what's the status on some new trains? I haven't been around for a while, since my old computer doesn't run the program very well. I'll get it fixed eventually. But I remember that the R160 got started up, and the R142. Haven't seen BStyles around for a long time.
  4. I hope after the SAS they will figure out how to take some of that load off the down the Broadway stretch...
  5. I also saw some work of the R42 going on, maybe someone could pull that up here.
  6. Subway props to you man. Those LEDs are on point.
  7. Broadway / Brighton: The line is just absolutely cramped, and it starts in Manhattan with the . With the running all the way out to Astoria now, it takes forever for the damn train to come back to serve Broadway on the Express, causing the platforms to fill up. They used to just all get out at Church, but now its bringing people from stops way past that cramped up between 42 and Canal. We need the back to 57. Or running full time Express in Astoria, just something to get it back to Broadway faster. I thought some about sending the down there. There is a transfer to almost every line through that Nassau St borough, and this could be instrumental in keeping the strain off. Of course, the would have to run longer, and Express past Myrtle Av to balance the less trains that we will be having up in that area. The , has to either be via the or the in Brooklyn, Express of course. Culver: I know everyone hates those dreaded Express tracks, but they could be a lot more useful. I know the isn't running as frequently as it could be, and people are complaining a bit about that. If the ran Express from Church all the way to Bergen / Jay, assuming that a Local would leave every time an left, this problem would be a problem no more. I thought of the coming down and ending at Church, but that will just never happen with the . Grand CC / Jerome Av: The and the should be using those Express tracks. Easier fix with the , just run the for longer. This would work mutually with both lines as it would take some strain off Brighton and Grand CC. The would just never work, with the already cramped up Lexington Express, but if there were some way, that would be really useful. Fulton / Rockaway: The Express tracks past Rockaway Blvd are actually perfect. I have taken the line out there a couple times, and noticed that people don't get out until Lefferts. Could be a bit useful, but the fact that the train would empty at an already crowded Rockaway Blvd would make this not work out at all. Flushing: The , same thing. The Express cuts way too early. People just ride the train to get out at Main St or Shea Stadium, which is a VERY long ride from Times Square. If the service just changed from midday and headed out towards Shea Stadium, that would work out perfectly. I heard that they used to do this, but stopped because of CBTC. Broadway / 7 Av: The needs to have some sort of Express variant, call it the , from 96 St to 145 St. Everyone is just going to get off at 110, 116, or 168 St. But the amount of people that get off at 96 St from the 7 Av Express is insane. But they really need to do something about that, that is a waste of good trackage. I can't speak for the tracks above Dyckman though.
  8. I wish the mac version of Trainz was a bit more stable... I would be making a few routes too. Nice work SE and Green.
  9. All right here on the downloads page lol: http://bvestation.com/downloads.php
  10. Yeah I was about to say, those doors would be a huge step down if they were the acutal thing.
  11. Funny you are posting this because I pretty much had the same thing a few days ago with my MacBook. I thought it was just a problem with my hard drive wire but I guess it was a lot more because they had to wipe my hard drive. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, and thankfully I got a nice new top case with the repair.
  12. ScreechyFlange please do not quote posts with pictures they are very annoying and also make the page take more time to load.
  13. Yeah, the transfer is so long, especially since you have to go up the elevator. I didn't see many people transferring up there either.
  14. I don't see what the problem with Express on the SAS would be. You might want to revise that because all the work the are doing makes them both severely overcrowded, which is what we are trying to fix with the SAS. The even though it is not as crowded as the , still has its share. Express would work great to clear up a bit of the overcrowding on all three lines. Even a 3 track peak direction would get the job done.
  15. is gonna have to get some CBTC sometime soon anyways that thing is crowded 24/7. I don't really see a two track express working. To me it just seems like a 4 track would work better. At minimum, I think there should atleast be a third track added to the SAS.
  16. UPDATE Progress on the continues slowly and steadily. Credit to DJ Hammers and Mr Railfan. Look at the photorealism of Kings Hwy! Here is another one at Queensboro Plaza featuring the new R38 BETA. The photorealism continues as we look at this shot of the Manhattan Bridge. Church Avenue right here. Tons more in this thread: http://forums.bvestation.com/index.php?topic=2208.120 JayJay85 has also announced the development of the . Not as photorealistic as the , but its always good to start somewhere. Lines like the have come off of him, so we expect nothing less than the best. Another one showing us 111 St I believe. I will just send us off with these two photos of the R38 BETA by DJ Hammers. I think we can say that it has surpassed the R46 as most photorealistic train in NYCTA OpenBVE. Here is a shot on the interior.
  17. Give the man a break you are making this sound like its real life! Uhm terminate the at Lefferts Blvd and Euclid Av, send a few down the to Church Av if necessary.
  18. Green, I think what you made on your post on the BDC forums is an terrible idea, especially how harsh it was worded. I have run many websites and forums, and I know you might not really like the fact that many members are on your site, but think of how this is being worded off to the older members like me, who have been following this content since Magicland and JeffMorris, on here and Auran. How does this make some of the longest followers of your content feel? If anything, more members that join, that brings more traffic. And even though not used often, there is a share button, which can spread the word for many potential Trainz NYCTA enthusiasts. And the sharing isn't even limited to a button, but through links, videos, countless forms of media these days. In my opinion, you are just driving people away from your site by making this post. It sounds like you are going to kick everyone off who does not post screenshots of Trainz. If you wanted to make this a site for developers only, then why did you create a forum? Instead of putting members down, I would continue to encourage them joining. No offense here, but this is honestly not that big of an enterprise to have to be making such harsh posts about "gimme - pigs". And I am sure that downloads are restricted to members only. Just because a member does not post doesn't mean that a member isn't interested. And honestly here, what is going to stop them from creating another account. I use to post long ago, that was before my Trainz stopped working and I just simply didn't have the time to do much of it anymore. Listen, I'd really think about re-wording that post you made there, it comes off absolutely terrible. If this is the way that the site is going to be run you can check my account right off that list.
  19. I know Magicland did something like that with the R46, and maybe some of the guys from OpenBVE might be able to help. But Magicland disappeared so long ago... The R46 by far is my favorite car in Trainz and real life.
  20. Wow so after WPR this project is completely done! You have done a great job Green and I commend you and BStyles, and anyone else who has been working on this project very much. SubwayEngineer you have also done a very good job at the reskins. I am not sure if this has been asked before, but are the R142 rollsigns animated?
  21. Wow no wonder. The one we were on actually was a being used as a .
  22. It would be nice to see some color instead of that red on the electronic rollsign, but looking at the concept it seems that they are sticking right with the red.
  23. Lol so I finally figured out the difference between the R142 and R142A a few days ago, and realized I got an R142 from Atlantic Av to Bowling Green. Are the R142s rare?
  24. Wow DJ, NYCTR, and Fan Railer!!! Amazing job to you all!!! Can't wait for the re-release of that .
