  1. I loved driving that 711. There was something about that turning radius which I loved, but normally Phil gave me one of those double decker jobs on the weekends (Co-Op City line) and during the week I usually got an MC-9.

Barbara Stern accused me of taking money. I had one of those commuter lines in the morning and I knew something didn't add up, but I also documented that on the envelope. It didn't seem to matter.

But I enjoyed woking for them, even if they did think I was only capable of doing the Atlantic City work.

  2. Hi Mac claire I remember the DD neoplains there was a gold one there too it was a single deck short job # was 711 had golden nugget on the side there was also an MCI there at the time with a green BALLYS CASINO in gold letters painted on the side and it was a stick never seen any MCI's except for that one w/ a manuel trans. Vassel Monzchyn was the one who fired me he was a **** I also went to High School w/ his son who was also a ******* ****.

  3. We were there at the same time for a while. The double decker Neoplans and MCI's made most of the fleet. I remember Jerry, Barbara Stern and I forget the VP's name back then. They had this nasty guy named Phil and a cool guy named Bob Montgomery, both were dispatchers at the front desk.

Were you there when that brand new MCI with Brooklyn seniors flipped on the GSP? The driver was Al Wiggins.

  4. Can you do a Co Op city bus destination LED for me? Any of the bus lines into Co Op city would be fine. Thanks.
  5. ...to make those signs myself. I run a minor league basketball team and would love to have sort of a marquee put on the team site. Someone please teach me the basics!
  6. I also worked for Leisure Line in 1985 I was a serviceman/cleaner I later on I started w/ NJ Transit 1986 -89 drove trucks for a few yrs then started w/ NYCTA 1993 to present

  7. Must be kinda neat to be a voice of the MTA.

I live in San Antonio and would love to use my voice for something like what you do.

    Any suggestions?

  8. ...for accepting my requests. You do good work and I look forward to the signage I requested. Happy Holidays!
  9. I'd simply continue the BX-41 from Gun Hill and White Plains Rds up to 241st, have the bus turn onto 241st (becomes Baychester Av.) and make stops until reaching Boston Rd. Left on Boston Rd to Conner St, right turn and over I-95 and into Co-Op City. I haven't lived in The Bronx in many years but last I checked there was no bus service between 231st/ White Plains Rd. and Baychester/Boston Rd.
  10. May I have a sign for the D train, Coney Island/205th St. Or 2 train, 241st St/New Lots Av. Either one of the two would be great. Are you someone that does the bus destination signs too? I'm dying to get hold of a Co-Op City sign. But I don't want to be greedy. One for now of anything above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
