  1. In recent weeks, a couple of MCI's have been seen on the 400/403, but none recently [Newton's 5500s were in use. they seem to avoid the 59-6000s, Why?]. 5388 was seen on the 400 on Thursday, are it's brothers 5389-91 down here too? If they REALLY needs buses, they should put 5230 in service instead of hiding it in the garage. Why is 5326 at Greenville? Washington Township needs every CRAPBIs they can get their hands on.
  2. The Cherry Hill-Pennsauken shuttle bus is being handled by a Newton Ave transit. MCIs handle the shuttles from Philly.
  3. I hope that includes better connections to the RiverLINE, PATCO, and the ACRL.
  4. Lots of CRAPBIs showing upon the 406, and a few are doing 401-Salem, 402-Pennsville, 408-Millville, and 410 Bridgeton runs. Is the MCI shortage at Washington Twp the reason these crappers [who need an overhaul like NOW!] are on these long-distance routes?
  5. NJT doesn't use the PCCs because of a lack of loops on the HBLR/NLR, and also no offside doors on these cars.
  6. They have been around for a month or so. I saw one on 5569 back in August. The shields are popping up on Hamilton Garage buses in Trenton as well, and don't be surprised that they are showing up on Egg Harbor's NABIs too.
  7. 5374 had been stationed at Newton Ave from the time it arrived as a new bus to a couple of weeks ago when it was sent to Washington Twp.
  8. Fairview isn't the only depot Howell is taking buses from, they took all of Washington Twp.'s and Egg Harbor's 8200s.
  9. So that's why Wash. Twp. got those NABIs from Greenville, they sent some MCIs to Howell.
  10. Today's sightings: 5390 on the 403 [Welcome back home 5390!], 5369 on the 400, 5371 on the 403, 6404 and 6405 at the newton Ave Garage, 6406 on the 404, 6407 on the 413, and 6408 parked at the Cherry Hill Mall. Looks like Washington Twp got the breathing room they so desperately needed, it had gotten to the point that Newton Ave's spare ratio was endangered by Washington Twp. running out of serviceable buses on a daily basis, it got so bad that trips were missed due to a lack of buses. I'm glad NJT has listened to the Southern Division's plea and sent more buses down there. Another question; will more 6400's come down to replace the wayward 5639/41 and 5797/98 buses, or are those buses stuck at Newton Ave?
  11. I don't have a picture posted yet, but those driver shields you guys see on buses up north are starting to appear down south. I saw one on 5569 at Moorestown Mall yesterday [8/6/13]. It's about time, considering the increasing amount of driver assaults in Camden.
  12. Will any 6400s show up south of the Union County Line? [skipping the S-M-M-O region and showing up in the Southern Division]
  13. Only people like us bus fans would rat out Academy for something like this. The average everyday bus passenger don't give a rat's ass about who owns what bus, as long as that bus shows up to take them to wherever they want to go [work, school, etc]. So if a J4500 shows up on the route to work, they don't care, they will get on, pay their fare and ride. They even might like it since the bus is a luxury charter instead of the regular piece of junk.
  14. The areas east and west of Broadway can be best described as war zones with bombed out buildings. On Broadway itself, the main drag has more ho's than people out in the streets. The 450 is best left alone in it's current state, save for extending the bus from Cherry Hill Mall, via Haddonfield Rd, Rt. 73, Remington Ave/National Hwy, J. Tipton Blvd, River Rd, and Derousse Ave to the new PTC [Pennsauken Transit Center RL/ACRL Station].
  15. You got a typo in your roster. It does not reflect that the Morris bus roster should read 1626-1639.
  16. Love the rarely seen Southern Division emblems as they were not posted on the buses down here. One question though, where is Baby NABIs 1626-1629? Are they going to A & C at one point? These buses are not accounted for.
  17. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO NOVA RTS BUSES AT EGG HARBOR AND SALEM COUNTY TRANSIT . Please adjust your roster accordingly.
  18. Considering Atlantic City's bus routes long headways, and some interlining, the four routes mentioned uses around 16-17 buses on a weekday, with the 502 and the 507 probably using 5 buses on each route, and the 508/509 using about 3 buses on each route. With 4 or 5 buses undergoing service that brings the number to 22 buses with 7 spares to be assigned to whatever route that needs them. It seems to me that if you see a NABI on the 552/553/559, then there must be a shortage of MCIs at Egg Harbor as those long-distance routes require these
  19. On the roster please note the mistakes: 1]5373 is at Newton Ave. 2]there are NO Nova RTS at Egg Harbor. NABI's have taken over: 6205-6234 and 1601-1625. 3]the Egg Harbor NOVAs are spread out between Hilton, and the Jersey City Bus companies..
  20. I'll believe it when they're seen on the South Jersey buses.
  21. Strangest sight today, saw 5530 on the 403 in Camden. Now I know Washington Twp. is kinda tight on NABI buses and they occasionally borrow buses from Newton Ave to make their schedules, but 5530 is from HAMILTON ! Can anyone explain that ?

  23. 8012 is also now at Newton Ave. saw it on da 409 at trenton. I wonder if a couple of Newton's Crapbi's went to Washington Township in exchange for the MCI's?
  24. This is a reason they need more Transit/Suburban buses. They run these things 18-20 hours a day. Many of these buses are beaten to death on the road, especialy on the rutted streets in Camden.
