553 Bridgeton Posted June 18, 2009 Share #28 Posted June 18, 2009 Surprise no one said the Dyre Av Line. Morris Park Pelham Pkwy Gun Hill Rd Baychester Av Dyre Av These stations are extremely quiet at nite even after the PM rush. Pelham Pkwy and Baychester Av are quiet to the point were you wish the ran every 2 mins. Waiting at them two stations at nite suck. And the trees around Baychester Av make a even more creepy feeling to it.

MAA89 Posted June 23, 2009 Share #31 Posted June 23, 2009 What would be the creepiest station at night to wait at while waiting for a train? For me it would be N. Conduit Avenue on the because the station seems to be like in the middle of nowhere. My immediate reaction was Aqueduct Racetrack, but realized that is only open till 8PM on racedays. So I would agree with Aqueduct North Conduit as far as the subway goes. However, I would feel decidedly more unsafe at a Staten Island Railroad stop at night. Few people use the SIR during the day, and almost none at night, and the easy access to the platform from the street, lack of fare controls and lack of a station agent and security forces all combine to make the SIR undesirable to ride at night.
