trainfan22 Posted June 25, 2009 Share #101 Posted June 25, 2009 They were definitely best at ENY b/c they received the proper care back then. Agreed. 2000-2002 was the best (I didn't fan the B div much before those years, the only B div lines I rode before that were the ,, and (Q6)) so I don't know how the 42's were like in the 90s since I was too busy fanning the redbirds and 62/As. The 42s were awsome earier this decade, I miss riding them on the , my favorite part was between Livonia and New Lots Rocaway Parkway bound. The train would be bouncing all over the place, E105th - New Lots was a nice run in both directions, Mantthan bound was quite bouncy, lots of fun man I miss those days.
