Service Alert

Posted on:6/17/2009 6:14:43 PM

Due to a police investigation at the Woodhaven Boulevard Station, there is no service on the Jamaica-bound (J) trains from the Cypress Hills Station to the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer Station.

In addition, due to signal problems at the 42nd Street-Port Authority Station, selected 168th-bound (C) trains are running express from the West 4th Street-Washington Square Station to the 59th Street-Columbus Circle Station.

Also, due to signal problems at the 5th Avenue-53rd Street Station:

Selected Jamaica-bound (E) trains are running on the (F) line from the West 4th Street-Washington Square Station to the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights Station.

Selected Forest Hills-bound (V) trains are running on the (F) line from the 47th-50th Streets Station to the 36th Street Station.

Please expect delays in service on the (C), (E), (J) and (V) trains.

Additionally, due to ongoing switch problems at the Woodlawn Station, please expect delays in service on the (4) trains.

And, due to an ongoing rail condition between the Broadway-Nassau Station and the High Street Station, please expect delays in service on the (A) and (C) trains in both directions.

This has me thinking...I hope T/Os know the route of their possible reroutes if things like this happen.
