Trainspotter 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2007 NJ Transit and city of Hackensack celebrate completion of new bus terminal NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT Board Member Susan Hayes and NJ TRANSIT Executive Director Richard Sarles joined Hackensack Mayor Jorge Meneses and Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney today to celebrate the grand re-opening of the newly renovated Hackensack Bus Terminal. The new facility features customer amenities such as a new waiting area, ADA-compliant restrooms, a modern heating and air conditioning system and new passenger communications technology. Constructed in the 1970’s, Hackensack Bus Terminal is an important New Jersey transportation hub serving approximately 3,400 passengers daily.
