R142/A 340 Posted June 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 23, 2009 How comes the train strip map does not show the local stops in Manhattan but the train strip map shows the local stops, shouldn't the show the local stops because it runs local during late night like the ? mark1447 Posted June 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2009 I remember after the 9/11 Issue till about 2004, the IRT line had the Strip maps with all Local stops, since the ran as the "Broadway-7th Avenue Local" with the to brooklyn which replaced the , and the replaced the Skip-Stop. B/c @ that time the was going express via 7th Avenue late nights and the ran local via Lexington Avenue. So when they made the R-142's around 1999 the was running express so thats why the strip map only have its orginial stops.....September of 1999 they made the go local via 7th Avenue late nights. Yeah in late 1999 the ran local b/c that time the Redbirds was still running and I took that to avoid the late night and come to find out that the ran local late night and it pissed me off even more!
